Yeah from what I remember and older articles it looks like GMs are hired about mid month (15th-20th) and HCs are hired the the last week or so. Reich was hired on the 26th so we could see a GM in a week or so and HC in 2-3 weeks.

Do internal interviews typically get announced or leaked later? Curious if they will entertain Evero. Don't seem like he is getting much attention anywhere else.

Ed Dodds is the best GM Candidate so far and I don't think it's that close. Champ Kelly is probably 2nd and Halaby 3rd. Harley is literally only the contract guy, Brown is very very new in his career with a Giants team that is struggling outside of Daboll, Tilis is meh, Matteo and Greenberg just seem like Scott Fitterer clones when you read their background. Dodds and Kelly also have experience dealing with over involved owners (Irsay & Davis)

Sounds like they are going to use Morgan as the talent evaluation guy and new GM will be another Samir.

I have no evidence but I feel like they are going to get Macdonald or Monken. Probably the second.

I would watch Tennessee as well. I don’t know that Vrabel doesn’t leave or make enough demands intentionally so he’s told to leave.

He’ll retire or go sit on one of his guys staff to have something to do. Like Buffalo with McDermott or if Wilks lands somewhere as HC. I could see him having a DC or defensive assistant role like Dom.

We might…. MIGHT get a good enough GM that finds some hopeless dumbass that is willing to part with a very low first or a high second. But you can forget top 15

I think he will likely serve as interim for a couple weeks until the new guy gets here and either get fired or go into a different role. Then again he could stay Assistant GM for a year or so since he is so familiar with the roster- it would be good for the new GM to have somebody like that until he gets on his feet.

I don’t even know if I would use that example. Horn is good (when he plays). If he misses Sunday as expected, it means he has only played in 20/51 possible games since he’s been drafted. Could have easily gotten Fields, Surtain, Parsons, or Slater when he picked Horn.

Because we haven’t had a winning season in 7 years. Most of these guys are used to getting coached by losers and making great money in the process. They care more about be cool and funny on the team social media rather than being held accountable. Rhule’s culture was garbage and Frank’s was worse. Go look at Jeff Saturdays interview describing the shitty culture he cleaned up in Indy. If the Panthers hire a legit HC that cares about winning and actually knows how, a lot of these guys are going to buck the system. God forbid they get a hard ass like Belichick some of them might quit.
