  1. Jake used to give me minimum of 3 heart attacks per game with his throws.
  2. At this point, I think this will be Andy's final run. It's maintain the starting role or just retire. I don't see him going back to be a back up.
  3. Bengals Total Off: 15th Bengals Pass Off: 6th Bengals Rush Off: 28th Bengals Total Def: 13th Bengals Pass Def: 9th Bengals Rush Def: 26th Run the damn ball; shut down their pass and make them run= win. To our benefit, it will be raining.
  4. Yeah because I really believe JT O'Sullivan's reads were better than Andy's despite Andy's 38k passing yards and 250 career TDs.
  5. Give them a 7th next year if they eat some of the dead cap.
  6. Not saying we will at all. We are the Panthers after all. But, I don't see a team on that list that could beat what the Panthers did on Sunday against the Raiders, except maybe the Saints. Ofcourse, I don't expect that every Sunday either.
  7. Eagles probably going to smack the Bucs this week putting them at 2-2. Falcons/Saints play. If the Falcons win that puts them both at 2-2. If Andy beats his former team on Sunday, we are also 2-2. I really hope Andy doesn't have an off game in the near future and they go running back to Bryce for no good reason.
  8. Opening 6 point underdogs to Cincinnati. Tonight, will be the first time I've really watched the Bengals this year. Going off of averages, they have a bottom 3 run game and run defense. They have the #1 pass defense though, and middle of the pack in passing offense. Could be one of those Steve Wilks weeks where we run the ball 45 times.
  9. It only works a few times and after that players just get tired of you. It's a short term strategy and never really goes well. I bet they beat the Browns this week, but after that if they hit anymore adversity what is he going to do? Threaten jobs again? Andy broke the Raiders.
  10. I would take Zappe as a back up to Dalton. Especially if we keep running the ball well. I think if something happens to Andy they will either go get Wilson or sign Tannehill though. especially if the plan is to stay competitive through the season.
  11. Since we are going there. I have a conspiracy theory. Last Preseason, Dalton had an "injury" and only played like 1 or 2 drives. The rest was all Corral and Luton with some Bryce. Same thing this year, it was all Plummer, some Luton, and 1 drive of Bryce. I think Dalton has intentionally not been given much exposure to hide how bad Bryce actually is. But you mention week 3 last year against Seattle? I think that was either unplanned (Bryce was actually hurt) or it was an attempt by Reich to give Bryce a chance to get his bearings together and it backfired because Dalton ran the offense well.
  12. I think his was going to be a little while (like mid-season) if I remember right, I could be wrong. I think Crumedy, Wonnum, Barno, and Dane Jackson are all eligible to come back after the Cincinnati game this week.
  13. Yeah so I’m pretty sure his trade value just got cut in half today. Need to get him out of here though. Every time I seen him today he was just moping around in the background like some random visitor.
  14. I think they will go veteran next year whether Dalton has more left or not. Canales seems to have a way with guys who has been around a bit, and we could use the pick on another edge or high end WR. I still like Rudolph. Maybe a Dalton/Rudolph mix near year. But every year there is also 1 or 2 available QBs that hit the market or are up for trade that nobody was expecting. Who knows.
  15. Chinn would have been a good LB. He was horrible in coverage and they insisted on playing him at FS instead of SS. Would have been a great Will LB in a 4-3 scheme.
  16. We’ll see. If Dalton comes in and plays even at a Kyle Allen level we will learn a lot of new things about different players.
  17. Chinn and Luvu aren't doing so hot either. Last time I looked it was like 14 combined tackles, no sacks, ints, or TFLs.
  18. Who knows. Maybe I guess. It's rumored that she is dating NBA player Tyrese Maxey. So just like the Panthers, it appears she also prefers somebody that is 6'2".
  19. We run a lot of zone, so short will probably be Thompson or Jewell and Woods over the top. Somehow it will end up being DJ Johnson though.
  20. Was trying to look for some connections. Strangely, it looks like Dalton and Young are both represented by the same agency. I wonder if that increases their motivated to push to find Bryce a new home to compete. Also, as far as the rumored trade partners- there isn't much CAA connection to any of the rumored teams. other than DK Metcalf and Jalin Hyatt sharing the same agency as Bryce. Speculating- but I can see Dalton also being represented by CAA makes them want to push for a trade even harder.
  21. I listened to a podcast this morning where Jay Gruden was talking about his QBs from his coaching career. Interesting note: Bengals picked Dalton because they needed somebody to start right away and he was the most pro-ready and had great ability to pick things up quickly and adjust. (Maybe why Reich chose him as the mentor last year). There's an interview with Brady from a while back where he discusses that QBs don't get time to develop anymore. QBs come straight into the league to compete so the playbooks get simpler and simpler each year. I think we see that now, if anyone has paid attention to offenses efficiencies the last few weeks. I don't think this was Bryce's issue though. I think he just simply doesn't have the physical tools to be an NFL QB and now his confidence is gone so he regressed. He may make a great coach or coordinator one day but I think he just simply doesn't have the skills to be a QB at the pro level.
  22. Not sure that it matters but I think the overall height of our OL increase a little this year. Hunt is 6'6" and is the RG. I think Lewis is the same height is Zavala. Not sure right off on the height difference between Bozeman and Corbett but I know Icky/Moton are like 6'4/6'5".
