  1. Who knows. Maybe I guess. It's rumored that she is dating NBA player Tyrese Maxey. So just like the Panthers, it appears she also prefers somebody that is 6'2".
  2. We run a lot of zone, so short will probably be Thompson or Jewell and Woods over the top. Somehow it will end up being DJ Johnson though.
  3. Was trying to look for some connections. Strangely, it looks like Dalton and Young are both represented by the same agency. I wonder if that increases their motivated to push to find Bryce a new home to compete. Also, as far as the rumored trade partners- there isn't much CAA connection to any of the rumored teams. other than DK Metcalf and Jalin Hyatt sharing the same agency as Bryce. Speculating- but I can see Dalton also being represented by CAA makes them want to push for a trade even harder.
  4. I listened to a podcast this morning where Jay Gruden was talking about his QBs from his coaching career. Interesting note: Bengals picked Dalton because they needed somebody to start right away and he was the most pro-ready and had great ability to pick things up quickly and adjust. (Maybe why Reich chose him as the mentor last year). There's an interview with Brady from a while back where he discusses that QBs don't get time to develop anymore. QBs come straight into the league to compete so the playbooks get simpler and simpler each year. I think we see that now, if anyone has paid attention to offenses efficiencies the last few weeks. I don't think this was Bryce's issue though. I think he just simply doesn't have the physical tools to be an NFL QB and now his confidence is gone so he regressed. He may make a great coach or coordinator one day but I think he just simply doesn't have the skills to be a QB at the pro level.
  5. Not sure that it matters but I think the overall height of our OL increase a little this year. Hunt is 6'6" and is the RG. I think Lewis is the same height is Zavala. Not sure right off on the height difference between Bozeman and Corbett but I know Icky/Moton are like 6'4/6'5".
  6. I don't know if it was a typo or not but Brees did have a cannon for an arm.
  7. Looks like Tarron Jackson will be coming up this week, he's on active roster now. Also, means Charles Harris is probably ready to be part of the rotation too. I think the earliest Barno/Wonnum can come back is the Atlanta game in two weeks.
  8. Only if that's his personality though. He could be the type of person that shuts down. Not everyone pushes back against adversity. I feel like with the way he has been coddled, he's the type to shut down.
  9. He could develop. He has the big arm, frame, and the physical make up for sure. I mentioned Mason Rudolph earlier for this. (6ft 5/ 235lbs). He did really well in a terrible Matt Canada offense for years but I think he got a bad wrap because he had to follow up Roethlisberger after all those years. He's also a SC native and about the same age as Geno and Baker when Dave got them on track.
  10. That's my point though. Right now everyone is so high on the Panthers being the reason for his failure, if the offense starts improving that talking point erodes away.
  11. If Lance can go for a 4th, you can probably get a 5th out of him. Also subjective to how much that team wants him.
  12. Well just due to typical NFL drama, that list will likely grow and there will be some cheap trade targets like every other year. If Dalton works out this year, he probably has another year in him. Brissett, Fields, Wilson would all be interesting. But I am intrigued by Mason Rudolph being a reclamation projection for Canales. 6 ft 5 and 235lb Rock Hill, SC native who hasn't been too bad considering most of his career was under Matt Canada.
  13. I don't know but this keeps coming up in Seattle fan circles. He would be a great option for a back-up and developmental project if true. I think it's more likely that Plummer just becomes the back up. Then again, if Wilson really did lose his job in Pittsburgh, I can totally see Canales and Morgan getting him just due to the history together. I don't think they do it unless Dalton is hurt though. An interesting option would be Zappe who is on KC's practice squad right now.
  14. He won't even be worth a 7th if we keep waiting. Once the offense shows improvement, his value will plummet to nothing.
  15. Rebuild the damn team. Go with a vet next year, maybe draft a mid-round QB to develop. Use that high draft pick on an edge or another WR. Build the depth on this team and put an experienced game manager in place.
  16. Out. Get him out before this turns into a daily media talking point. Only ones that should be pissed are the fans and other 52 people on the roster who are trying to support their families.
  17. If Bryce was a real number 1 pick he wouldn't need to be "surrounded" by all this talent he was supposedly missing. Nearly every rookie last year and so far this year looks better than Bryce ever has at the Pro level. Bryce will not improve, he is a weak QB and won't be in the NFL in a few years. People like to blame it on how many coaches he has had but I'd like to flip that around. How many coordinators/coaches is it going to take for a No. 1 overall pick to show even mediocre success?
  18. We sat on Burns and we see how that worked out for us.
  19. I tend to align with the minority here. Supposedly, Tepper "took a step back from the day-to day" this last offseason. This is after Bryce was drafted. If Canales and Morgan made the call to bench him and Tepper was just like "it's your show" that's an unbelievable step in the right direction.
  20. If Dalton comes in and plays at 2022 Sam Darnold level, 4 out of the next 6 games are competitive at minimum. Here are some of his highlights from 2022.
  21. Analysts are saying Rams and Dolphins. Orlovsky thinks the Rams should trade for him. https://theramswire.usatoday.com/2024/09/17/bryce-young-panthers-rams-trade-dan-orlovsky/ But he also mentions the Dolphins. https://phinphanatic.com/posts/espn-insider-adds-bryce-young-trade-speculation-latest-dolphins-take-01j801qjsk7q Some randoms are saying the Giants and Browns should do it. We will see if any smoke appears. I would do it soon. If Dalton has a good day on Sunday, Bryce's value goes down.
  22. Vinny was 44 when he played here. Beuerlein was 34 when he set the Panther's franchise record for passing TDs/yards in a season. (Still standing btw) Rodgers is 40 Brady was like 45 (I know he don't count) Rivers/Roethlisberger were like 39 when they slipped. Cam was only like 29/30 when his arm went (That was due to TJ Watt). Jake was 32 when his went and he had TJ surgery. Everyone's arm goes out differently. Dalton hasn't put much strain on it the last couple of years. He probably has 2-3 more years.
