I think they go offense at 8 and then stack up depth on defense the next 4-5 picks. Probably Warren or Tet. There are quite a few 2nd/3rd round edge guys. Really Stewart should be in that category too.

My grandmother used to call "third winter" blackberry winter. It would always happen around the time the blackberries bloomed. There was also something else about if lightening bugs were still around in (sept maybe?) it meant a long winter, or something to that effect. I don't remember it but it was right often.

I think it depends on the friends/family. I can remember in the late 90s friends and family members basically all having a key to my grandparent's house and it was completely normal for somebody to stop by if they weren't home and make a phone call, use the restroom, borrow something and leave a note, etc. Had to be like 15-20 people with access to their house. Our house wasn't like that though. My mom and dad worked a lot and didn't have that many close friends. They were also really private and my mom would have likely flipped out about something like that.

As a cap nerd, my math says 8.9m pending some more details. However, no more than 12.4m. -
Reading the Tea Leaves: What Did Morgan Just Tell Us?
ProcessBlue2 replied to MHS831's topic in Carolina Panthers
They are going to go offense early and then use the later rounds to build depth on D. Could be McMillian or Golden but I wouldn't write off Tyler Warren either. Only starting level gap left on D is the SS position. TM is a FS. -
I mean there really isn't a better option to play QB2 unless you want people pounding the table everytime Bryce makes a mistake. Andy is 64 years old and can do the job when he has to.

Good, now resign Mike Jackson.

Who is your way too early mid-round draft crush?
ProcessBlue2 replied to BeenPounding's topic in Carolina Panthers
Jamaree Caldwell, Jack Kiser, and Elijah Roberts. -
Is running back on the table for the panthers this draft?

I swear I said this before the end of the season, I can totally see Morgan taking Jeanty in the draft. -

Wow, wonder if Kellen Moore backs out now. -
This has got to be worst coaching cycle in years

Apparently Joe Brady is staying in Buffalo and Kingsbury isn't in any hurry to schedule an interview. I'm too lazy to go find the link(s). Prob going to be Rizzi, Weaver, or McCarthy. -

Quinn was on my top 3 for here. I kept getting told he was a retread though. Just like with McCarthy in 2020. -

Jets I think. Glenn is in a really bad situation there. I don't think he makes it longer than a season. If Coen can get a decent DC and they patch some holes, he will do just fine with the offense. -

I don't think it's realistic for him to develop a rookie unless there is going to be some unnamed successor at OC and Carroll is just there for mentorship and culture building. -

He'll end up with Wilson probably or Drew Lock. Pittsburgh probably tries to work out a deal with Atlanta for Cousins or they get McCarthy or Darnold out of Minnesota. Fields goes somewhere else to compete. -
Luvu / Chinn….. why did we let them go again?
ProcessBlue2 replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
It was reported last year that Evero "couldn't find ways to get Chinn on the field". -
1. Best looking HOME uniform in the NFL: Bills 2. Ugliest home uniform in the NFL: Falcons, their new uniforms suck. (Also us when we wear WHITE pants with black jerseys instead of silver or black, whoever does this needs fired ASAP). 3. Best looking Throwback Uniform in the NFL: Probably the Eagles in Kelly Green.

ESPN: Panthers like LB Jalon Walker
ProcessBlue2 replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
This is going to change 50 different times before the draft. They just need to go BPA on defense and leave it at that. -
Pete Carroll to Raiders per Fox

He'll be 74 when the season starts. -

Vrabel won't be there long. He would have been great going somewhere new like New York or Vegas but they are just trying to replicate past success again. Bringing back McDaniels as OC will help although I don't know how he does with Drake Maye. I think they may have some light success early on (Wild Card or .500) but this is going to collapse in a couple of seasons. The Patriots are doing everything they can to latch on to their golden years. New Orleans is in a similar situation, I wouldn't be surprised if they hire Rizzi since he is one of theirs. Honestly, I hope they do so they can continue to degrade year by year until they have to rebuild. -
Him not being on our DL last year makes him more qualified than 80% of our DL.

Patriots- Vrabel: Really thought they would go outside the box here and go after Johnson or somebody different-thought wrong. Instead they replaced their coach with who they wanted the last coach to be. Raiders- Carroll: Only way this works is if the plan is for his successor to be on the staff and mentor him the next 1-2 years. He will be 74 when the regular season gets here. He was .500 head coach at best his last few years in Seattle with John Schneider stacking his roster. Bears- Johnson: Holy hell did this guy blow his future. He turned down all these teams to coach Caleb Williams and the Bears. FYI, the Bears have a worst record than us the last 10 seasons. And he gets to play against 3 playoff contenders in his division twice each a year. Jaguars-Coen: Might be the best hire of this cycle. However, he has almost no experience. Dave Canales has more NFL consistency than him. He seems to bounce to and from college often. Jets-Glenn: Good luck to him dealing with Aaron Rodgers and Woody Johnson everyday. Their roster is horrible and full of more JAGs than ours. They are selling this feel good story about him being drafted by the Jets but it’s putting off real Frank Reich in Carolina vibes. I bet he doesn’t last the season. Cowboys-?: Jones is interviewing his current OC and Former OC. So yeah whatever comes out of that. Saints-?: They don’t know, they are interviewing everyone. You can probably get an interview too if you fill out an application. My guess is Joe Brady or Mike McCarthy. However, they may just promote the interim guy since (just like New England) they can’t let “their guys” go.
