We never had this debate with Cam or Jake (early years). A franchise QB doesn't have the fanbase split on whether he is the franchise QB or not. You think people in DC are debating whether or not Daniels is their franchise QB or not? You think Denver is doing it? You guys get attached too easy.

OFFICIAL Panthers vs Buccaneers Game Day Thread
ProcessBlue2 replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Something like 80 players -
Look bud, I was shitt on for weeks (mods included) because I said Ricky West didn't belong on the roster. 90% can't remember him now.

some rando's opinion... Evero *will be* first to be fired
ProcessBlue2 replied to Frank9999's topic in Carolina Panthers
Imagine working for them every day. I mean that literal. 67 days at one point 10+hours per day. -

Maybe its just coach speak. However, Canales just said he hopes to build off of the 3-4 scheme here with Evero. Tepper, do your thing. -

He got me too not long after that, I complained about him choosing a cheaper material in one of our processes that required twice the amount of labor and pointed out he wasn't actually saving any money by doing it. I got put on an impossible project with ridiculous deadlines not long after that and got the point. Luckily, I found a better company after that and then eventually I was my own boss when I started doing my own thing. -
some rando's opinion... Evero *will be* first to be fired
ProcessBlue2 replied to Frank9999's topic in Carolina Panthers
No I did not. I'll clarify. I was having some performance review conversations with an employee and found out afterwards he was already searching for a job. When he gave me his notice, I backed off and let him finish his notice. I dropped the performance follow-ups because he was leaving anyways and there was no point. When he was packing his stuff up on his last day, my boss couldn't believe I let him work a notice so he ran down the hall and "terminated" him about 2 hours or less before the day was up. -

First job I had in a management role, there was a difficult employee who was a nightmare to manage. After a few one on one conversations I got word he was looking for another job, so I kind of put a pause on our follow-ups. A few days later, he turned in a notice and I let him finish it out. On his last day while he was packing his stuff up, my boss asked what he was doing and I told him. He demanded that I go to his office and fire him on the spot. I explained, he was packing up and would be gone soon, he didn't care. He went down there and did it himself right then. That will be David Tepper with Ejiro Evero. -

Tepper hasn't fired anyone in over a year. He is ready for it. -
Cool, he's on par with Aidan O'Connell

I prefer this to social media. If somebody is here then they are usually a pretty dedicated fan and even if they have a completely stupid take or opinion its not for a lack of current knowledge. Social media is saturated with a bunch of fair weather fans who don't even watch games or highlights, they just have uneducated opinions in their minds and they want to argue without knowing anything. Examples: People demanding to fire the GM a week after he had already been fired. People mad we traded Jonathan Mingo "while he was a rookie" One individual telling me the defense was down because Brian Burns was hurt this season. Bryce should be in contention for ROY this year (2024) The Panthers need to fire Matt Rhule (2024) and my favorite Why did the Panthers bench Bryce Young for Darnold, I thought he was with a different team. (Not realizing Andy Dalton is a completely different person)

Panthers could make history on Sunday (Defense)
ProcessBlue2 replied to ProcessBlue2's topic in Carolina Panthers
Fair enough, bottom 10 instead of 5 in history now. -
I would also watch James Bettcher, LBs coach in Cinci. Has worked with the Assistant HC Harold Goodwin a lot under Arians. He took over for Bowles at DC in Arizona when he took the NYJ job.
-
Most realistic 5 are: Robert Saleh, Ken Norton Jr, Aaron Curry, and Brendan Daley. They are all connected to either Brandt, Morgan, or Canales. Schwartz or Graham is possible if the Raiders/Browns clean house. Outside the box, Leslie Frazier or Lovie Smith could be an option as well. Also Rob Ryan (Not Rex).

I hate to ask this but I have to because you're like the 4th Bryce supporter to say something similar. Y'all do realize that wanting him to get better doesn't actually make him better, right? -

Part of that is because the coaches were drawing up the barns running into each other. -

Well damn, if thats the case we should have kept Kyle Allen and Teddy Bridgewater. -
Yeah I was one of like 3 people who wanted Harbaugh. I would have been fine with Payton but I didn't want to give the Saints draft capitol. Nobody here wanted Payton because "they didn't like him because he was with the Saints" or whatever. Also almost none of the huddle wanted McCarthy or Quinn because they were "Retreads."

Food for thought- There is a QB that is going to play Sunday for the Chiefs that is 47-45 as a starter and has thrown 153 TDs to 63 INTs. Carson Wentz got a bad wrap a few years back. The guy has a cannon. He spent 2023 with McVay and Stafford in LA and has sat behind Mahomes and Reid this season. Supposedly, Canales had a lot to do with the turnarounds of Geno Smith and Baker Mayfield. Give this dude a shot to start. If Bryce beats him, then great. If not, then great. I would almost say the same for Drew Lock.

We're 6th or 7th worst. There are some bad ones. McCaskeys (CHI) Davis (LV) Adams (TEN) Mara (NYG) Johnson (NYJ) Khan (Jax)

Either way we are going to screw over the Bucs or the Falcons. If the Falcons win tonight and the Bucs beat the Saints. It will depend on us. Falcons beat us, they are in. If they lose, Tampa is in. In the end, we get to ruin somebody's day.
