Here's my thing though. If the secondary is the strongest part of this defense, put the pressure on them. What you're currently doing is not working. We are still allowing 30-40 points per game. Try something else. Is the pass rush is struggling, send more rushers and let's see if Horn is a good as some of you say and if Jackson needs an extension or not.

Listening to 99.9 the fan, per Dennis Cox the Panthers either blitzed or stunted a combined 8 plays on Sunday. 56 plays were base defense.
-
Additional cap. It's an option. If we want some of the FA names that keep getting thrown around this board you have to pay for it. Especially to come here, our price will be more than everywhere else.

That’s probably at least a year away. He hasn’t even had any live reps, this season will just be an introduction to the NFL and rep counts.
-
Bryce plays just like Kyler Murray if Kyler was wearing flip flops.
-
He’s going to end up playing again at some point this season due to injury or whatever. There is going to be so much hype from the 10% of the fan base that hasn’t accepted it that it’s going to be sickening. It will be a complete implosion and what little draft value he had left will disappear.

If We Don't Win Another Game. Do We Make Any Trades??

Can you imagine if Sean McVay gets the 1st pick and gets to handpick his QB for the next two decades. -

We can get out of Clowneys contract kinda easily. I would trade him once Barno, Wonnum, Haynes, Lawson get going. -
Would You Get a QB in 2025 draft, or not??

Somebody (or two) that nobody is expecting will be available this offseason it never fails. Also Lock and Rudolph would be good veterans to lean on. Not too old and good potential. Especially since Canales is the career reviver for QBs- allegedly. -

Offense is a piece or two away. Defense needs a total overhaul. 8-9 new starters.

He will be hurt before the season is over, watch and see. I'm willing to bet it's before the Bye Week.

I'd bring in a veteran and draft a guy. I wouldn't just pick a guy in the Top 5 either just because he's a QB. I wouldn't be afraid to pick one up in the 2nd or 3rd round. If an elite Edge, WR, or CB is in the Top 5 I take them first. -
Very possible, would be a 4 million dollar hit but would open 10 million if done this season. Might happen as the other Edge rushers start coming in.
-
Right now according to Sport Trac, we have about 41 million going into next year. Having Bryce designated as a post-June 1 trade is 6 million in dead cap but frees up 4 million. In the far right columns you can see what post-June 1 cuts would give us. These moves alone free up an additional 50 million in cap space with 20 million in DC. This is not counting restructuring the contracts of Brown, Hunt, and Lewis.

They will probably keep Mingo just because of the rookie contract. I think Thielen will be out and Johnson will sign somewhere else. Legette Coker Mingo Draft Pick? Free Agent? 2nd Free Agent? Not in any particular order. Also its sad we are discussing this only 6 games into the season.

So here is the current state of our Edge Rushers. Does anyone have anything on the return dates from the guys on IR/PUP? Also, there is a good chance that Jackson, Incoom, and Harris aren't even on the roster anymore once Haynes, Lawson, Barno, and Wonnum are in the mix which is wild to think about. Active- Charles Harris Thomas Incoom Tarron Jackson DJ Johnson Active/Brand New- Marquis Haynes Shaq Lawson Practice Squad- Kenny Dyson Injured/Active- Jadaveon Clowney IR/PUP- Amare Barno DJ Wonnum

We'll win another game, maybe 2. It'll be like last year where we win a random game out of nowhere. My guess is the Giants, and Tampa/Atlanta if they rest their starters at the end of the year. We will have a Top 3 pick, no doubt.
-
No. I care more about the development of of the young guys on the offense. They won't get that with Bryce. I would put Plummer in before I put Bryce in, because there is at least a 0.001% chance that he can be developed. Bryce sucks, and that just is what it is.

Daboll is desperate, and his seat is on fire. Fans have been yammering about giving Kafka a shot the whole offseason.

This organization fuging sucks. I hate this team

When Andy gets hurt they need to trot Plummer out there. At least we already know Bryce sucks, maybe there is a microscopic chance he is Brock Purdy (doubt it tho)
