  1. Depends if you're going off win%, total wins, or what. In Tepper era: Rivera 12-16 Rhule 11-27 Wilks 6-6 Tabor 1-5 Canales 1-6 Reich 1-10 Fewell 0-4 The funny thing is that Tepper fired Ron at 5-7 which would be considered amazing by today's standards.
  2. Here are 13 in no particular order. Mykel Williams-Edge: Georgia Jack Sawyer- Edge: Ohio State Mason Taylor- TE: LSU Jonah Monheim-C USC Mason Graham- DT: Michigan Barrett Carter-LB: Clemson Will Johnson-CB: Michigan Luther Burden-WR: Missouri Antwane Wells-WR: Ole Miss Ashton Jeanty-RB: Boise St Jonah Coleman-RB: Washington Garret Nussmeier-QB: LSU Cam Ward-QB: Miami
  3. When did I call him old? I said he wasn't a spring chicken meaning he isn't Jalen Coker's age. This is his 6th season in the NFL and next year (first under a new contract) would be his 7th.
  4. People forget Wilks and Holcombe was a package deal, and Holcombe struggled. The defense declined when Snow left. People also forget how conservative Wilks was on both sides of the ball. It lost us the TB game. I think Canales will work out. I think Saleh, Frazier or somebody will come in as DC and the Panthers will go heavy defense in FA/Draft this year. It's the opposite of what Fox did. Fox went Defense heavy first and then Offense heavy after 2002.
  5. Baker Mayfield Kyle Trask John Wolford Old Geno Smith Drew Lock Jacob Eason Russell Wilson Alex McGough Brett Hundley Austin Davis These are the QBs that Canales has worked with as Pass Game Coordinator, QB Coach, and OC. I get the feeling he prefers pocket QBs.
  6. Johnson is 30, so you're not getting a spring chicken but he's a damn good WR. His market value per SportTrac is 10m/yr. If you can get him on a 3yr/30-35m deal go for it. If Adams is going for a Day 2 pick, Johnson's value is Day 3. Chances are Thielen will be a cap cut this season, so Johnson will be a good veteran in the room with Legette, Coker, and whoever else.
  7. Problem with this is since it's Cam, people will be calling for him to start at QB immediately. Any success he has will be exaggerated and half the fan base will be calling for him to sign a 5 year deal. The fan base just can't move on from him. When Rhule brought him back, he should have let him start the remainder of 2021 and let the people see the good and the bad and then decide whether to bring him back in 2022 in a mentor role. The way that entire situation went made the Cam hysteria worse.
  8. If a sign outside of a restaurant gets his attention, a billboard damn sure will. I would just post the record since he has become owner with the quote that "mediocrity will not be tolerated".
  9. Listen here bud, he's thrown way more interceptions than I ever have. I have never thrown an interception in the NFL.
  10. I really was against trading him at the time, but I remember not being too pissed about it then just because how injury prone he had been. Note: He still hasn't played a down with SF this year.
  11. Steelers aren't going to let Fields go. Wilson is going to get benched or hurt and somehow he is going to get reunited down here with Canales and Morgan.
  12. Here's my thing though. If the secondary is the strongest part of this defense, put the pressure on them. What you're currently doing is not working. We are still allowing 30-40 points per game. Try something else. Is the pass rush is struggling, send more rushers and let's see if Horn is a good as some of you say and if Jackson needs an extension or not.
  13. Listening to 99.9 the fan, per Dennis Cox the Panthers either blitzed or stunted a combined 8 plays on Sunday. 56 plays were base defense.
  14. Additional cap. It's an option. If we want some of the FA names that keep getting thrown around this board you have to pay for it. Especially to come here, our price will be more than everywhere else.
  15. That’s probably at least a year away. He hasn’t even had any live reps, this season will just be an introduction to the NFL and rep counts.
  16. Bryce plays just like Kyler Murray if Kyler was wearing flip flops.
  17. He’s going to end up playing again at some point this season due to injury or whatever. There is going to be so much hype from the 10% of the fan base that hasn’t accepted it that it’s going to be sickening. It will be a complete implosion and what little draft value he had left will disappear.
  18. Can you imagine if Sean McVay gets the 1st pick and gets to handpick his QB for the next two decades.
  19. We can get out of Clowneys contract kinda easily. I would trade him once Barno, Wonnum, Haynes, Lawson get going.
  20. Somebody (or two) that nobody is expecting will be available this offseason it never fails. Also Lock and Rudolph would be good veterans to lean on. Not too old and good potential. Especially since Canales is the career reviver for QBs- allegedly.
