  1. Not saying BB won't be the next Dallas HC. I just can't see it. I can see them being the ones to finally grab Ben Johnson though.
  2. If Daboll gets fired tomorrow, this will become a prophecy for the Cowboys.
  3. Dalton is not the long term answer but fact is he would have won last week, and this week would have been a 2 TD+ win. Dalton is a back up at best anymore so that's not saying much. The defense won the game with some assistance from Chuba Hubbard. (or vice versa).
  4. Chiefs are going to lose next week to Buffalo and hammer us for 4 straight quarters after the bye week. Anyways- maybe Tampa once, maybe Dallas.
  5. I don't want him to fail, but he really isn't changing the outcome of any game that Dalton wouldn't also win. He struggles to throw 175 yards per game. He isn't the long term answer.
  6. I like Ward, but he makes some completely stupid decisions sometimes. The throw backwards yesterday against Duke was ridiculous.
  7. What’s funny is the Dallas game might be winnable this year. They are probably our easiest opponent left after the Giants.
  8. I would disagree. Today he was functional. We are so used to him being dysfunctional that anytime he does something right he is praised. This is the only defense worse than us. Since we are talking about specifics, did you see the 2-3 dropped picks by the Saints? Or the duck he hurled into the air that looked like a field goal on the Sanders PI?
  9. What does that have to do with anything I said? We got blown out because we suck not because of lack of trying. The team last year didn’t give a poo, and the only way Reich tried to motivate the team was to clap his hands.
  10. I think the biggest difference between Reich and Canales is the team this year actually tries, they just suck really bad. Last year, there was some more talent- mostly on defense. However, they didn't care and there was absolutely zero energy.
  11. The only defense worse than us right now is New Orleans, and he still couldn't throw for more than 200 yards.. He has a very low ceiling. I would let him play the rest of the season to remind everyone of that and then move on.
  12. He really didn't have a good game today. He just didn't look as terrible as he did his first two games. He still threw a pick, averaged 6.6 per completion and couldn't throw for 200 yards against the only defense worse than us. With that being said, if he can play at this level the rest of the season and not look completely terrible, we COULD get a Day 2 pick out of him.
  13. This can't be right, I was told Dan Morgan was a bad GM.
  14. The Jets got 8 sacks last night. We have 9 for the whole season.
  15. I wouldn't take OT away either. Next year is probably Moton's last season with us. Now, I doubt we fill it in the 1st round, but they could always slide Ickey over and draft a true LT.
  16. We also don't have to use the #1 pick. We can always trade back 3-4 spots and take the best DL, WR, CB, etc. Mason Graham or Luther Burden would be nice.
  17. Allar was Top 3 for me entering the season. Now, I have him about 5th. He's a 2nd Rounder. Big guy, strong arm, but man he makes some wild decisions sometimes. His upside is to develop into a Josh Allen type, but he could just as easily be a Paxton Lynch.
  18. Maybe But you have to think the Steelers were willing to part with him for an injury prone Jackson. (This is before Jackson was doing as well as he is this season). They were willing to part with him for that. Wasn't there a bunch of Pittsburgh fans pissed off because he refused to jump on fumbles and stuff? or some other similar issue.
  19. Dennis and Chris had a point on 99.9 The Fan. The trade is a reflection of what the NFL thinks his value is worth. Morgan can't control what other teams are offering. I mean the option is to keep him for him to walk anyways and then we MAYBE get a comp pick for 2026. All you do until then is take reps from Coker and Legette.
  20. Somebody will take him and try to fix him. I think he'll be coaching somewhere in 3-4 years though.
  21. We probably find a way to win one of our next two games, our defense is starting to get a little healthier. (Probably the Giants). I think we end up beating some team later on that is down on it's luck with injuries or something. (Bucs maybe). Probably finish 3-14.
  22. It's too early. He fixed the OL which we have been waiting 20+ years for. We also found the best young WRs we have had in a long time. His draft this last year is shaping up to be our best one in 5+ seasons. He needs another offseason minimum. If Fitterer can get 3 offseasons so should he.
  23. You can also look at it as being an opportunity for Coker and Legette to develop. Johnson would just take reps away.
  24. Tillis/Morgan must have been told there was zero chance he resigned in the offseason and/or the dude is just unbearable. If his agent was like "yeah no way he stays here after this season" then yeah I guess get what you can but surely you could have gotten a bit more.
  25. Baltimore's pick is valued at 26 points. Our pick was valued at 21 points. So that's net 5 gain. So we gained the equivalent of a really high 7th round pick
