Agreed. I think he was brought in for KRs. I think Irwin will do punts and add an extra set of hands to the WR room. Irwin has good hands, he just struggled to get open in Cinci.
-
I think they will elevate Mike Boone, who is adored by the coaching staff for some reason. We also have Emani Bailey on the PS who ran for 1200 yards and 8 TDs at TCU last year, he spent training camp with the Chiefs.

Velus Jones Jr. Former 3rd Rounder from Chicago. Played WR/RB/KR/PR. Known for some pretty big muffs on returns his first year. Signed off Jacksonville's PS to our active roster. Trent Irwin Was coached by Idzik at Stanford. Spent most of his time with the Bengals, mostly as a returner. According to Rapoport, he is expected to be on the 53 soon.

I want to elevate Bailey from the practice squad not Boone.

Mike Boone is on Practice Squad. Also, we signed Emani Bailey to the practice squad he was with the Chiefs during training camp. He ran for 1200 yards and 8 TDs at TCU last year. Dillon Johnson is on Practice Squad/Injured as well. Bailey is 5 ft 7 205lbs

Jeanty incoming

Okay fine, take yards away. What about everything else.

I mean if you want to split hairs, Bryce is: 1572 yards, 7 TD, 7 INT, 59% comp % on the season. If you want to just talk about the last "few weeks". Bryce is: 1273 yards, , 7 TD, 4INT, 59%. Which means he is averaging 212 yards, 1.1 TD, 0.6INT per game. Congrats, he went from Randy Fasani to Kyle Allen. He is doing better but he still isn't good. As long as he is progressing week to week, I'm happy for him, but keep in mind he has a long fuging way to go to be considered good.
-
With past Panthers logic that means he will be getting an extension soon.
-
I’m optimistic. I thought we would see this version of Bryce at some point last season, and we didn’t. I do worry about him regressing and going backwards. I think next season there needs to be somebody else in the #2 role for many reasons. 1)If he falls back we have somebody to depend on 2) this person could provide some type of push to prevent complacency 3) In typical Panthers fashion, our luck would be for Bryce to turn it around and then lose him to injury for the year.

I understand the first one, he took a big hit. The second one though, you got to bring that in.
-
Yeah I really wouldn’t be upset with this.
-
I think we will bring Nick Goings out of retirement before we see Sanders in a uniform again.
-
I think we have a big edge on Dallas since they have no run offense. I think if they lose this week they are technically eliminated. Would love to be the ones that make it official for them. Arizona- who knows. Their season is about over and they don’t play well outside in December often. Tampa- who knows- game was handed to them the first time. Atlanta- By the looks of things they are falling completely apart and could be a win.

BREAKING: Jadeveon Clowney out of Phily game
ProcessBlue2 replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Had 4 sacks today. Wonnum missed the entire season and is 1/2 sack behind Clowney right now. -
I think DJ Moore did his rookie season.
-
Dan Morgan doing his best not to turn into Marty Hurney and draft Ashton Jeanty in the first round.
-
It's probably going to come down to whoever's kicker sucks the least that day.

Has your return to playoffs timeline been adjusted?
ProcessBlue2 replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Probably going to land in the 4-6 game range I predicted this summer. Next year will be 6-9 with a lot of games like the last few. Have some fine tuning on offense. Defense needs some real help.
