Oh god. Please don’t fulfill this prophecy
-
I agree getting mays and hunt back would be awesome.
-
I’ve been calling him Canal-Ass when I’m pissed off in my living room. On a serious note, Dirty Dave?
-
We are at the same place had we won Monday and took them impending loss against the Rams. I actually think we came out better with more momentum going into the bye week.
-
They might pick up the 5th year option, but I almost guarantee there will be a plan B on the roster next year that isn’t named Andy Dalton.
-
With two weeks off, it’s very possible that we get back these guys going into New Orleans. -Jaycee Horn -Christian Rozeboom -Cade Mays -Claudin Cherelus -Robert Hunt (Canales said a few weeks ago that his window should open around the bye week) with Zavala on IR, and us 7-6 he could make his way back) -David Moore (Canales said he expects him available sometime in December) not sure if there is any value in bringing him back.
-
The only use we could have for him is to have him run at the QB as fast as possible every play with his arms up to cause some type of disruption. If I were Evero I would tape his arms to 2x4s like a touchdown signal and tell him to run C gap every time.
-
No he’s one of those weird players that are naturally athletic but not good at anything. Like the people Fitterer would draft. Had Scott been here a yearly earlier he would have picked him over Derrick Brown.
-
I would rotate him in to edge as well. 6’4” and 240 and athletic as he is, he can’t be worse than DJ Johnson was
-
3 years unless you’re a useless idiot like Matt Rhule. Dave has a better record than Rivera at this point. Also had a better record than Kyle Shanahan at this point. The head coaches that come in and flip things in one year, usually take over a good roster that the previous coach was to stupid to utilize.

Tell Me How Carolina Wins Against the Rams
ProcessBlue2 replied to chknwing's topic in Carolina Panthers
If we win it’ll be like the KC or Philly game last year but we actually finish it. It would look similar to the Dallas game this year. Two things we have going for us is it will be 10am their time- none under 70 degrees. And they have only played 4 games outside this year. It will be in the 40s and rainy tomorrow. Also they haven’t done well playing out east, they allowed 20 to Tennessee, only put up 17 against Baltimore, and lost to Philly when they have. I doubt any of that matters tomorrow. -
I did NOT want young. I was 50/50 on Johnson and still am kinda. He has a really talented roster. He should be 9-3 with the skill they have. The previous coaches were just idiots. Johnson comes across as one of those guys that can lose composure and the locker room fast. Kinda like Jonathan Gannon. Smart guy, seems to doing well so far.

I think we lose but it will be closer than people expect. I think Canales will run heavy which will slow the game down. I think defense plays meh even with guys out. 31-21 or 26-17 or so Then again, this season is weird as fuging hell, we could end up winning somehow and lose to the saints again and I wouldn’t be surprised.

What's the best Thanksgiving side dish?
ProcessBlue2 replied to Jackson113.2's topic in Carolina Panthers
This year it’s mutton -
Realistically, I would keep an eye on on O’Connell. Big and strong QB, with a powerful arm. Could be a cheap get. Looked rough in a shitty situation but started figuring it out with limited resources. I know Jones isn’t going anywhere but would be nice to get a crack at him, Lance, or Mills. Hell I would even take Trubisky or Allen (part 2).

J Person article on Canales and game plan and Rico
ProcessBlue2 replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
I was just being sarcastic so Dave can blame the run game for not working. I think so too, if and when we are eliminated from the playoffs we will probably see it. -
I wanted to share this for those that don't realize there are options in the NFL you just can't see them. A) Some of these guys in the draft will rise or sink in value- I know. I also know some will go back to school, it's to get an idea. B) I know some of these guys on teams will still be under contract. Some of them will get released and/or can be moved for cheaper than you think once the offseason gets here. (Would you give up a 3rd or 4th for somebody other than Young or Dalton?- I think yes). C) Nobody should panic and think we are stuck with Young or can't find any viable competition. It's out there, if you go by the available FA list, you will go crazy.

Waiting for Dave to run the ball 55 times right up the middle with the box loaded and then be at the press conference like “see it didn’t work” -
I’m not optimistic for us at all for us. We will find a way to mess it up. The Bucs are limping to the finish line again and might not make it this time. All we have to do is go .500 from here out and we have a shot, but I know we won’t.
-
I’ve had the feeling the last few years that when we do go back to the playoffs we are going to be play the Bears. Even before the Bryce trade. When I thought about us in the playoffs it was us and Chicago. Idk
-
Bucs schedule isn’t as easy as it seems. I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Cardinals give them a run this week, they have been playing teams close and Baker might not play. I expect them to lose to the Falcons OR Saints not both. Miami could also get them if they keep playing better but doubtful. 9-8 might get us there if both wins are against Tampa. Will need 10-7 if we split with them. Thats also dependent on Mayfields health. Dude has a new ailment each week. Knee, Ankle, Olbique, now it’s a sprained shoulder. Hes barely holding on.

Apparently they are meeting next week during the bye
