I’m not optimistic for us at all for us. We will find a way to mess it up. The Bucs are limping to the finish line again and might not make it this time. All we have to do is go .500 from here out and we have a shot, but I know we won’t.

I’ve had the feeling the last few years that when we do go back to the playoffs we are going to be play the Bears. Even before the Bryce trade. When I thought about us in the playoffs it was us and Chicago. Idk

Bucs schedule isn’t as easy as it seems. I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Cardinals give them a run this week, they have been playing teams close and Baker might not play. I expect them to lose to the Falcons OR Saints not both. Miami could also get them if they keep playing better but doubtful. 9-8 might get us there if both wins are against Tampa. Will need 10-7 if we split with them. Thats also dependent on Mayfields health. Dude has a new ailment each week. Knee, Ankle, Olbique, now it’s a sprained shoulder. Hes barely holding on.

I would stay away from this game betting wise. It has the makings of being one of those weird games we actually play close in like Philly and KC last year. Team pissed off, back home, + Rams possibly overlooking us. Good chance Dave actually runs the ball this week. Not saying we will win at all but there could be a garbage time TD that makes it a 8-9 point game late in the 4th. Rams don’t care about the spread, they want to get the win and go back home all the way across the country.

There is a feeling amongst Colts fans that Daniel Jones will not resign with them because he knows it’s his opportunity to make bank and they won’t pay it. I think Mac Jones will be off limits because he will replace Purdy eventually (now or later) and he’s under contract. I wouldn’t be surprised if Jacksonville moved on from Lawrence, probably not this season but he’s getting a lot of blame for stuff that’s not his fault down there. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Rattler set free. He actually didn’t do horrible this season. Cooper Rush is just sitting up there for the Ravens. Did fine with Dallas but he’s severely out of system with them and probably why he had trouble when he started. I would keep an eye on Davis Mills. I think he will be our QB next season. Hes the better version of the QBs Dan and Dave keep signing to the practice squad and doing a nice job in Houston. He is going to start and his neck is going to be the back up.

Bryce has good days in the frequency that Jake had bad days. You always used to wait around and wonder when Delhomme when was going to have that ass game and then he’d be good a while. Now Bryce has only ass games and we wait for that one good one every now and then. Bryce and this game winning drive nonsense. Give me Jake over Bryce for a 2 minute drill any fuging day

I’m pretty sure the coaching staff wanted CJ Stroud, but it was Fitterer and his scouts that had pounded the table for Bryce. Fitterer was the one spouting the point guard nonsense that Tepper kept repeating. Like a commercial jingle. I think Scott was the culprit. Everything was bad and then when he got here it went to complete hell. Even Rhule did decent in 2020 before Scott got here. He won 5 games but lost like 6 by a score or less. Then dumbass comes in and really fugs poo up. I think he had Tepper’s ear and had no clue what he was doing. Bryce was supposed to be his Russell Wilson.

Sellers is ass. I’m a USC grad/fan and I’m telling you he’s horrible.

Tepper has no problem getting rid of players or coaches. He was okay with Bryce getting benched last year, was fine with getting rid of Burns. He’s not going to force anyone’s hand or prematurely fire anyone this cycle. So when/if he goes coach hunting again, he doesn’t have the impatient asshole label. I think it’s more likely Canales and/or Morgan pitched that they could fix Bryce. Or would at least try to.

Need a proper OC and a DC type guy being the HC. If he can’t call the plays he needs to bounce because this culture is too soft. Give me Rivera, or Fox type HC any day.

Exactly. He’s going to have to look like Mahomes the next 5 games for Morgan to take the option. He’s more likely to get traded on his 4th year or go against real competition. I’m not a football executive but I’d really just get him out ASAP this offseason so there is no chance of having him come back in next year and fool everyone into another deal.

There isn’t yet, there will be though. I just worry about the QB depth in the draft. Us trading up to 1 in a very bad QB draft got us into this. I would rather take a rental guy like Winston than do that again.

Everyone shitting on Tepper about being impatient. He’s trying to prove he’s not impatient. Tepper in 2020 would have gotten rid of Bryce already. He’s also probably waiting on Canales and Morgan to say they are done with it. If he makes them, it’s hard to hold them accountable later. Part of “stepping back”

Somebody will pick him up thinking they can fix him. Probably through a cheap trade with Morgan. He will play in a normal offense not tailored to him and it will be a fuging disaster.

So who writes the divorce article this time? Person wrote the one that ultimately ended Rhule. Fowler wrote the one that fired Reich and ultimately pushed Tepper back. Will it be Mike Kaye that ends Bryce?

This draft class is weak other than maybe Mendoza. And it looks like many are returning. I would really rather take a chance on getting another Darnold, Mayfield, Geno Smith, Daniel Jones story. Than draft in a weak class like we did with Bryce. I can already see us taking LaNorris Sellers to turn him into Cam to realize he’s Anthony Richardson.
