Yeah I think you go with Nijman and Christensen and see how the draft plays out. That way you aren’t handcuffed. If you draft a guy, you have Nijman with him and Christensen can go back to back up Guard.

From my vantage point last night (outside of the INT) there were 2 missed opportunities from him. On one of the 4th downs, when he rolled out towards the sideline he had McMillian wide open but he was staring somebody else down the whole time. If the throw to Chuba on the swing pass would have been a little more on target and he brought it in, there was nobody and I mean NOBODY on that side of the field. He could have took it 40 yards minimum if not all the way. little things like the above haunt him quite often When Bryce is aggressive, he plays well. But when he gets stuck in that super conservative mode, he is just horrible.

Need to draft a LT and plan on moving Ickey to G at some point. Not many players get back to the same level after that injury. It’s also concerning because Moton is getting some age on him. Yeah it never changed last night. I thought it would once it got darker but it stayed red. There also wasn’t a flyover at the national anthem. I think it was due to the overcast. It never rained last night but it was really cloudy. What’s funny is the towels. At the Tampa game they gave out black towels and left them in the cup holders and you could tell it was rushed because they were real poo quality, almost like painted with stencils and thrown in a pile. They handed out blue ones last night at the gate that were a lot nicer.

Being 1st place only affects 3 games. I’m not so pessimistic on it. I was at the game last night and that was the most energy I have seen in a long time. I would put it right next to the 03 Dallas game and 15 cardinals conference championship (I was at both). It wasn’t just all of the effort from the fans but all of the legends that were there. Jake, Cam, Jonathan Stewart, Wesley Walls, Steve Smith, Muhsin Muhammad, Luke, Eugene Robinson, and a lot more. At the end of the 4th Quarter, Jake, Smith, Walls and Moose all came out and beat the drum and the stadium was bouncing. Cam already hit the drum before the game but it later showed him in a press box trying to pump the crowd in the 4th quarter. It just felt like all of that energy was for nothing, it felt like we let the legends down. His production dropped off after he won the job. He padded his stats against some bad defenses and I think Chuba was hurt to start the season which impacted him early. Let him go. Draft another RB in the middle to late rounds to mix in with Hubbard, Brooks, Etienne Or see if we can get a deal on a young FA. Breece Hall, Tyler Allgeier, Pacheco, Sean Tucker, Javonte Williams, Jerome Ford, and a bunch of others are all free agents this year.
