If Legette is playing like a #1 by the end of the season, it would help, but I am not sure he is more than a #2 and Coker would be a very solid slot--so you could be right---problem I have with that is no legit #1 is coming here in free agency and we should go QB and Edge in the draft---we shall see. I mean, you may not need an Alpha if you have three Betas.

I think Canales will be fine if they stay with him--injuries + lack of talent does not scream for an new coach. Tepper needs to identify the central problem and stop blaming the symptoms of that problem.

There are several rookies who were drafted 6 months ago who are playing better and improving--Nix, for one. I am sorry--he sucks and has lost the respect of his team (body language). DId you see Horn cursing out Sean Payton? Probably knew him back when his dad played for him--but that is the frustration the whole team carries when they are busting their asses while a guy making $10m per year learns how to play. The sub par play hurts these players' abilities to sign bigger second contracts. It matters.

He has to far to go---he is not confident--he throws too late, he runs from ghosts when he has a pocket. I think he throws to the sidelines because he can see the WRs/TEs etc. He did well late when they stopped blitzing--he is not good. What killed me was the quote the sideline reporter provided when she was talking about how he wants to stay here---he said he likes his teammates and he is having fun... FUN?

The thing about Coker--he catches it when he is targeted most of the time--the only time he doesn't is when the QB throws a bad ball. I think Legette and Coker can be the dynamic duo next year--need a #3 and maybe a #4--if we can get a third or fourth rounder for Johnson....
-
Some huddlers were screaming for him before we signed him. You know, the coach's ability to recognize talent is alarming--You keep Mingo and put Coker on the PS...How much do you need to see? Moore has also been solid--as a #5 WR.

I thought we'd never see Bryce again. Not in Carolina....
-
Bryce is so bad, we need to fire Fitterer again....or take him hunting with us and oops.
-
he delays on purpose....He could snap with 5 seconds to go, then he goes up to the LOS and barks commands, and from the reaction of the center, he is identifying the Mike LB---with 4 seconds on the play clock--and the OL already knows who the Mike is. I think he is trying to reduce the number of plays he has to QB-

If i was Denver, I would play my safeties five yards off the ball and 10 yards inside the sideline. If you think route tree, we are throwing no passes above a 4:
-
I mean, its possible, just convenient for us conspiracy theorists.
-
Yes--this is what I mean.

Not reading 6 pages of witty yet appropriate anti-Bryce one liners--so excuse me if this is this thread, but am I being biased or skeptical when I question how one sprains a thumb in a car accident? Never heard of that happening. It sounds like they want to start him again to see how he is fermenting, but without a reason, it makes them look wishy washy. Who's with me!!!!???

Dan Graziano: Panthers will trade Diontae Johnson
MHS831 replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
He has a limited body of work, but 8 receptions in three games in the rotation on 8 targets--that is promising. That is about an average of 36+ yards per game---over 17 games, that would be over 600 yards--with bad QB play, I'll take it. But he has not established himself by any means, but he has done all he can do. -

Lotta WRs got hurt last week. I expect there to be some offers. -

I thought I read that he recently criticized his teammates for not doing their jobs--that was probably to encourage a trade--what does he have to lose? Now watch him get injured Sunday. I think we could get a day 2 pick for him -
Thanks for reading the real journalists' tweets to us.
-
No, I was referring to having the #1 pick already. I think, in that case, you have to take the best QB if you don't have one. Trading up? We have proven we can't do that.
-
The only way I would want #1 is to take Ward (if he turns out to be the real deal) or trade back.
-
Probably a perfect #2 TE. His blocking has been better than I thought
-
AT is not coming back regardless--offer him an extension, and if he does not take it, shop him. This business of announcing a player is not for sale when that player is a cornerstone of a franchise that has won 3 games since August 2023 is ridiculous. Apparently the QB position at Carolina is haunted--we should not have laughed at Darnold. But when your QB sees ghosts, who ya gonna call? Sorry.
-
I said that last year when I focused on him. He was slow to react and not a good blocker--if he were, he'd play some Hback and help block edge rushers or he'd lead on ISO--we don't do that.
-
They really are all over the place, but I think Ward will be (by April) the first player taken. I have not really researched them, but I am very intrigued by Rourke. Ewers just seems like an injury waiting to happen, but he is mentally tough. Beck has all the tools. I noticed no Allar for you....I like his upside.
-
he is our best TE and will only get better. It is hard to tell since the Panthers do not carry a QB on the roster.
