  1. We had a S like that in college who would take your head off--he ended up playing for Denver--but I did not like practicing when he was out there. I once took a dive over the middle when I saw him (I was a TE) and the coach jumped on me about it. I replied, "If I am going to get hurt, it is going to be on Saturday, not Wednesday." He laughed--and so did the entire defense--at me.
  2. He took Jefferson's slot position at LSU when he left and it went well for him. We have 4-5 solid WRs now-we have never had that before.
  3. He is going to be our next Hoover. Now, I want you to know that this is not a metaphor--I meant Brad. But the special teams, the trapping, the lead blocking, etc. Oh my.
  4. There are still many safeties on the board. Ford (Pittsburgh), the kid from Indiana, etc.
  5. Maybe they will package the picks to move up into the late 4th--their board is only 150 players, so if they get 2 tomorrow, we could be done.
  6. My board for 4th round: Rank Player Comment 1. Trey Smith, G Tennessee Former T that can’t block the edge, needs to play G. Great run blocker 2. Jamar Johnson, S Indiana Ball hawk, not great at tackling 3. Dylan Moses, LB Alabama Nice value at MLB behind Perryman 4. James Hudson, LT Cincinnati Raw, but a year away from starting and good depth. 5. Jaylen Twyman, DT Pittsburgh Good pass rushing 3 Technique; has not played in 18 months 6. Paris Ford, S Pittsburgh Leader, playmaker, good in coverage, good tackler 7. Quincey Roche, Edge Miami Trans to Miami from Temple, was effective. Rhule loves him (SR Bowl) 8. Stone Forsythe, LT, Florida Tall, long arms, great in pass protection—bad in run game.
  7. They do not have a 40 time on him (he said hamstring at the pro day) and one scout said they doubted he had speed to do anything bout add 10 lbs and play OLB. I dunno--he looks slow, but how slow?
  8. Damn that Calvin. Looks like the terminator tried to swallow a Mini Cooper.
  9. Added a 4th for 2022--so by trading Bridgewater and making this trade (in part), Darnold is going to cost us a 2022 2nd rounder and nothing more.
  10. Man---I am loving this draft. I want an IOL and I love it.
  11. He is 24. short arms. Really athletic. About Coastal--they did not have time to prepare. He could kick inside to LG when Elf takes out Paradis. Watch Spencer Brown Hudson Ball We may not be done.
  12. Charles Davis: He will compete with Greg Little for the starting LT job.
  13. Brady Christianson T YES 32" arms. Damn. Can he loosen his belt without bending over?
  14. Great point. I had him late first, early second.
  15. Some of us made some people mad by suggesting that they probably think they are OK at OT--Scott, Erving was signed at 8 am on early tampering day--- Wyatt Davis is my hope. We will draft a T--however--the value for developmental, long-armed Tackles starts this round. DO NOT BE SURPRISED if we DRAFT MILLS OR MOND in 8 picks. It is not stupid.
  16. we may trade back up, so pay attention. But I really think our T list are third rounders.
  17. Mayfield or Creed Humphries, but Terrace Marshall is possible....
  18. You draft for 4 years-but you are probably right, which is why we signed veterans. This is not picking sides for a pickup game--I hope we can find a starter or 2, but OL starters are tough. Creed Humphries could start soon.
