  1. Problem? send your cv to mint street. They could use your genius.
  2. where the hell did you come from? Trolling a bit?
  3. I agree, and there could be 3 FS at the top of the second round. I am not certain that they think we need LT as much as we do. However, we cant draft Defense all the damn time.
  4. Invalid point--, if you give the opponents 2 more possessions per game because you can't get off the field, and the average possession is 2 points, then that is 4 points by not getting off the field. If the Panthers had eliminated this problem, they would have won 4 more games---regardless of what the offense did nor did not do.
  5. I kinda want Walker Little. Has not played in 2 years and was injured. But was on a first round trek
  6. 31st in the NFL in getting off the field on 3rd down.
  7. what were our needs? 1. CB1 (best 2 in top 10 picks) 2. LT (CB1 not there in second) 3. WR (LT not there in third)
  8. I had the same thought---however, Dallas and Denver were in the market. Big dropoff to Newman and the injured Farley. I get it.
  9. I am with you guys, but part of me thinks they are decent at LT. I think they take one, but maybe the NDSU or ND tackles?
  10. Yeah, he sucks: (Think scheme versatility--why he was #1) Man Coverage: 9.5/10 - Horn was simply ridiculous in man coverage. His ability to shadow any team's No. 1 receiver throughout a game was incredible on film and is easily his greatest strength entering the draft. Zone Coverage: 9/10 - Despite being primarily typecast as a man-to-man corner, Horn showed excellent ability to thrive in zone coverage as well. This versatility should allow him to thrive in a variety of systems. Press Coverage: 9.5/10 - Horn's primary alignment came in press, and he showed off excellent understanding for technique and execution in both the mental and physical aspects needed. Off Coverage: 8.5/10 - While he didn't play out of off coverage much, Horn's versatility should make him viable in the alignment; however, Horn's skill set is unequivocally best utilized in press coverage. Athleticism: 10/10 - Not only was Horn's film an absolute pleasure to watch, but his incredible Pro Day testing showed off a level of athleticism that could prove to yield immense upside. Draft Grade: Top 10 Jaycee Horn is good at football. Like, really really good. He is one of the best corner prospects (if not THE best) since perhaps Jalen Ramsey in 2016.
  11. Horn's upside is better. Still a bit raw. And he played with his back to the ball a lot, which suggests that we will press more--meaning no more Pride 20 yard cushions. Sub 4.4 and rarely falls for a ball fake. Less S help needed. It may have been our biggest need, but nobody realized it.
  12. In addition to what he is TRYING to say--as the draft approaches, situations change. I predicted Sewell, then changed to suggest a CB1 would have to be the pick if Sewell is gone--maybe if he wasn't. When you are 31st in the league in getting off the field on 3rd down, that CB1 is very important. We talked about it.
  13. Remember, we were ranked 31st in the NFL in third down conversion defense. That is like giving the other team 2 extra possessions. Let that sink in.
  14. Horn ran a 4.39 40-yard dash, jumped 41.5 and 133 inches on the vertical and broad jump, respectively, and put up 19 reps on the bench press, all after measuring in at 6-1 and 205 pounds. A few of us were saying we needed to get a CB1 in round 1. We did. Where did we get better? #1 CB #2 CB S Defensive pass rush.
  15. Our secondary is now solid. Jackson, Bouye, Horn, Melvin, Pride, Hartsfield. S: Chinn, Burris, Franklin, etc. We are good. Now OLINE
  16. Folks, remember, there were 3 maybe 4 CB1a in the draft--we had to get one now if we were getting one.
  17. Well, I was disappointed, but a #1 CB was a huge need to make the rest better. Are we ever going to draft an OFFENSIVE player? I bet Snow is laughing at Brady right now. Gotta go T in second--- Come on Fitts---you had a chance to trade down and you reached. You had Fields and you could not find a partner? I will want to hear this story. And I lost a bet to that miserable pile of lucky crap Fua! Double whammy!!
  18. I would not be surprised by fields, but I expect a NE trade.
  19. Panther commerical break: DAMN. Slater, Smith, or Horn. PLEASE TRADE BACK
