  1. maybe the mods will shut this down.
  2. I mean, "Who's with me here?"
  3. I looked to see if I could find this on the Huddle--maybe some clever title hid it from me--I have been out a lot today....Did we miss this? Believe it or not, it could impact the player we draft. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2021/04/28/panthers-will-be-playing-on-new-surface-with-bank-of-america-stadium-switching-to-turf/ apologies if this is old news. I just learned that we walked on the moon too---maybe the next thread. Wonder what kind of turf they have there?
  4. I am not at all high on the DTs. I think there could be controversy, in that some 3-4 Ends will be listed as DTs--but if you are thinking pure 1 and 3 techniques, I have 7 or 8 in the first 2 days of the draft---but I do not like them---they could drop.
  5. YOU are right--I have been thinking that since about January---read it somewhere, but cannot find it, so I am inclined to think it was another TE--Sorta like Pitts, I almost hesitate to call him a TE because he may not be treated as one by the defense. I was surprised by his blocking and his YAC.
  6. The Golden Corral is the best test of a man's character.
  7. I am guessing we move back in the draft at some point (probably round 1) and get the other 2 picks (2022) covered.
  8. Yes, but I was wearing socks, so I don't get the hubaloo. but if you go, read the fine print. Apparently, there is a time limit and you can't stay all day.
  9. Here is what I know about ego---Bill B. has one. And he thought his greatness could carry the Patriots to their 20th playoff appearance last year just on his sarcastic brilliance alone. He thought he could take Cam and show the world what a QB whisperer he is. Sometimes, when losing means little, it seems to be a necessary part of winning. However, when that is all you do, it is a necessary part of dying. BB tasted it last semester--think he wants to lose again? Check out the Patriots free agent signings. Aggressive and desperate. The only missing piece? QB. When you fill all needs in free agency like they did, you are not going to dicker too much when it comes to moving up for a QB. I think they trade with Atlanta.
  10. I got called that at Golden Corral so I opened this thread thinking it was about me. I agree, he is a matchup nightmare.
  11. Old school--Steve Young, Warren Moon was VERY underrated, Roger Staubach....go back and watch the tape.
  12. and Surtain. Don't forget Surtain.
  13. There will be a shocker tomorrow---some move that screws up everyone's mock. I am saying between 4-7
  14. Needs to be shared in the rumor thread as well.
  15. He was my favorite coming in--guessing that he is the pick if we trade back with NE or WFT. I don't really like Darrisaw as much the more I watch him, so I am hoping CB 1 in round 1
  16. Forgot Newsome, but with Farley's injury history (which is not that big of a deal, but could be as he ages)...
  17. People are talking about how deep CB is---and it is. How deep is CB1? I count 2 or 3. Full stop. We need CB1 here, and Verge has stated it that way----accurately.
  18. Lotta red flags on Fields. You folks would give all you have for an unknown with good athleticism than for a known player who was in a terrible situation. I get it, but I think the thing to do is build around Darnold to see what he has. Is Fields a generational talent? They said that about Vince Young and Michael Vick. They said it about Jamarcus Russell and Ryan Leaf. They said it about Cam, and then they did not protect him or give him weaponry. I like Fields--I really do--but let's keep it between the lanes.
  19. Elway was my first thought---and (don't laugh) Luck was the total package---
  20. We are all mad here, Basbear. It is as if you chased a white rabbit into a hole in the ground and found a whole new world...
