  1. Post SR Bowl--Panthers trade back. https://catcrave.com/2022/02/07/carolina-panthers-7-round-2022-nfl-mock-draft-senior-bowl/ Sorry if this has already been shared--have not really seen it (or looked).
  2. Willis has the skill set to start in the right system, but he has work to do. There could also be a sleeper--if you think you know better go back and check your comments about Jones last year. We have to try and trade back, even if we lose some draft capital-- I see a "talent cliff drop off" around 12, so a team with a later first and second rounder may want to move up for a top 10 talent. I would not mind a tackle like Raimann or Penning and it is possible that Cross could fall. Linderbaum could slip as well. We should go into this season with the idea that we will protect Darnold and see how much he improves. I still see us going hard after Watkins--and I see us being active in free agency by signing an inside OL or two.
  3. His body language reeked of frustration last year--
  4. There are 5 OTs I would consider in the first--2 at #6 and 3 if we trade back.
  5. Hardy, Johnson, Rucker--the panthers have a lot of DEs that were role players until year 3. YGM is entering year 3. Luvu flashed at Reddick's spot. We may not even offer Reddick, knowing that we need cap room for OL, DL, and maybe 1 CB.
  6. If we somehow trade back--I thnk he is in the 20s
  7. That is an UUUUGLY uniform. At the SR bowl, Penning was slamming people in drills. He is a small school kid who knows the scouts are watching---I like it, and the first thing I think of is not potential penalties.
  8. If we don't draft a T this year it would be like us not drafting a QB last year.
  9. If we draft willis and sign Cam to compete with Darnold, then we will have 3 QBs who are nearly illiterate when it comes to reading a defense.
  10. They are not bitching about Rhule--they are bitching about people even discussing the remote chance that Rhule leaves for college. There is a difference. They do not understand the concept of a discussion board or the possibility that theories that are opposed to their own baseless opinions have enough validity to be discussed. So instead of going onto a thread about those who want to consider the possibility and trolling them for doing so--they should just refrain from clicking on the thread altogether. I am an educator (higher ed) and I am not the grammar police, but I can estimate the level of intelligence with some degree of accuracy by simply reading posts. We all can to a degree. It bothers me to see some half-baked moron calling others out with no supporting facts by mocking their intelligence. It is one of this board's great ironies.
  11. I agree just getting on the people who decide that a thread is not worthy because it conflicts with their opinion, so they enter the thread and mock those who are contributing.
  12. Question: If you are so certain about Rhule not going anywhere, why click on the thread instead of ignoring it?
  13. Rumors are significant--sure, you may think Rhule is not going anywhere--and that is probably right--but nobody assigned you the duty of telling others what to think--and you clicked on the thread--so go figure things out.
  14. If you are not native American, the name probably did not offend you. Imagine that.
  15. If you think about it--the Buffalo Bills is a dumber name--named after a singular folk hero. It would be like The Colts being called the "Indiana Joneses" Soon the name will not matter.
  16. OT is good for this draft and there are starting-quality LTs there if we trade back.
  17. I think Bernhard Raimann from Central Mich is better.
  18. The way he grabs people and throws them to the ground reminds me of Rivera talking about a small-school lineman we drafted in the second round--Amini Silatolu.
  19. Does Jimmy G realize that most winning teams don't need an average QB?
  20. Based on what I see on film, you could make that argument.
  21. This hire is the most impressive so far.
  22. when you use sign language to say, "Hello Ladies" and they have to put on their reading glasses to see it---hard to overcome that ice breaker.
  23. I actually met him wondering around at Belk while his wife was shopping. Nice guy. Later I learned that his daughter (I think) and my son were in the same class---so that is all you need to know. He must be hired. Seriously--we had Buck and Jenkins and Peppers and (maybe) Rucker.
  24. If they said, "Dirt from Rhule's plot." It would be more engaging. Dang. I just offended myself.
  25. ] Whew. Thank goodness we are not in the middle of all that offseason drama.
