  1. See how good the new coach is. But I get it. It seems that BC may be the LG--if we are going after LTs.
  2. I get the feeling that we are going to build a veteran circle around Willis. Bozeman was with Lamar Jackson in Baltimore---maybe there is some connection there. But if we go "no rookies" on offense except the QB, does that not improve his chance for success?
  3. She is right as much or more than the experts. I merge for Verge. (What did I just type?--sticking with it)
  4. Here is what I think about today: 1. Signed an all pro punter 2. Signed a DT (3, 5 tech) who can pressure the passer 3. Extended a star WR 4. Signed an elite Center to play beside the elite G we signed earlier in the week To me, that is the best day for a Panther GM I have seen since the franchise opened. If you were to equate this free agency to the draft, the Panthers have signed a situational Running back, a starting Safety, a 2-down LB, a starting RG, a starting C, a rotational DT, an established punter, and extended a #1 WR. That is very strong.
  5. I think they will go with BC at LT and might give Brown, Elflein, and Jordan a shot at LG....if we do not take a QB, we will trade back. To your point, there was a tweet that said the Panthers are not interested in Baker Mayfield (because the head coach and QB can't both have immaturity issues). Seriously, it could mean that they are not interested in the free agency market. I still see us dealing for Minshew--(what I wanted them to do last year, when he was cheaper).
  6. With the Darninator under center, Hekker may never see the field except to hold for field goals and extra points. Dominate the foe. Grrrrr.
  7. what we just witnessed is the work of a tremendous negotiator. There were three pawns and one sucker at the end. (Slow clap)
  8. If I were a football player, I would seriously consider Watson's agent.
  9. Depending on the draft, it could be BC. I would love to see Brown develop into a starter.
  10. And so I hear he called Fitterer and asked, "So when do you want Watson and me to arrive?" That is just me joking around, folks. Just pranking.
  11. Yall watch how good our QBs play in 2022.
  12. I am going to pay some chick to probe my bunghole with a lava lamp and then sit out of work for a year denying it happened that way. I figure I can retire in 3 maybe 4 years.
  13. New Orleans created cap room by reworking some deals involving aging players. Atlanta now on the hook for the Matty Ice bonus. Welcome home signs are burning. Both got weaker overplaying their hands. HA ha HA ha!!!
  14. Watson be like, "Hey Baker. Get your sh!t out of my stadium. Offer the Browns a second rounder in 2023 for Baker.
  15. So we WERE 4th of 4. At least this could mean Baker is suddenly back in play and Watson is not going to be in the South.
  16. Sorry. He is now promoting a new product he invented-- something he developed to compete with the iPhone. He calls it, the "ear" phone. He stated, "A phone for your eye? That is just dumb." Details forthcoming.
  17. I do too--the most upside. He is the only QB in the draft with star potential, imo, but he has high bust potential as well. He is a year away from taking a snap. Still, there is something there. I think Fitterer is trying to tell us that there is not going to be a rookie QB drafted this year. Just the way I read the last Gantt write up
  18. If we think BC can handle LT--I am willing to pencil BC in at LT and go with it. SIgn C Bozeman. Move D. Brown to LG and maybe allow for him to compete with Jordan. Maybe the new OL coach can make them better. I like the trade for Minshew idea--send our fourth rounder to Philly for him. Reminds me of the Jake Delhomme-type QB.
  19. Unless they decided to bring Chinn up to LB--Thomas Davis style. dunno, but I had the same thought.
  20. That is what I was hoping for---we shall see
  21. We have Elflein there now---and after watching him get bull rushed into the QB from the G spot, he is not the answer--a good backup LG/C, but if he is on the field, the offensive coordinators are aware.
