  1. Trade back, Fitterama. THis is BJ--in my opinion
  2. this is going to leave us with some room to trade back---from my perspective, anyway. However, if Ojulari is there, we probably take him. I am thinking that Seattle gets him at 37, however. Would LA take Hooker here?
  3. raiders moved up? Hooker? Hyatt? TE? Thats it. mayer
  4. Irsay buys a puppy for his daughter and brings it home to her. She is happy and elated--visions of many years of happiness and love. The next night, he brings home another puppy for her. She is confused. He explains, "We are going to let them fight to the death, and you get to keep the winner!"
  5. I do see Brady Christensen as the weak link on the OL---but if he were a backup Swing T, he would be a strength. However, do not rule out the G from Alabama in the third or early fourth--Ekiyor-he is only 6'2"---was that by design?
  6. It is really hard to gauge this because we don't even know precisely what the needs are. Depending on scheme, every team needs players with various skill sets. I am wondering, "Do we want a 245 lb edge or a 270 lb edge? What are we looking for in a CB or do we feel set there? Do we really want a G or a T? What about NT? DE? Since we have not seen the system in action, we are just trying to figure what this coach did last year and what that coach did etc.
  7. Is it possible that Hooker and Levis go in the top 8 picks? I think so. (Rams, Raiders or trade up like Minnesota, Washington, New England)
  8. I can't get Washington out of my head--- I think Fittsandgiggles will trade back if he can--unless some first round graded player drops.
  9. I really like the OT from Syracuse if we drop some (Bergeron). IF we added a T, we could then deal Moton (next year, when he gets expensive) and we could go with McCray, BC, Mays at G until Corbett returns. If we draft a G, I think it is to start at LG and BC becomes the swing T, Mays and McCray the backup G/C players. If you look at numbers, we have about 8 OL who are good enough to make the 53. We need 9-10, so we have to do something.
  10. OK, OK, I will tell you all what I expect to happen: The Panthers will pick at 39 and combine 93 and 114 to move up to about 80. The first pick? An edge The second pick? An OL (probably a Guard) I think they believe that if they can get a QB and 2 starting-caliber players they will be elated. I agree. However, BPA at 39 will be in play--we could go TE, CB, or OL with that pick.
  11. Hold up. Jimmy Clausen round 2, Tony Pike round 6, 2010
  12. Montana was over 5 years older than Young--he was past his prime--young was entering his. So similar. Irsay is a coke-fried, spoiled, jerk, and were it not for his father's $$, he would be living under an overpass smelling like Thunderbird and urine.
  13. We also had Washington (TE) in late. That would be an interesting pick.
  14. I thought he might....He is a bit raw but has some incredible skills.
  15. I wanted to comment on certain comments see bold text in your post above:
  16. And he would have to outperform all of the picks combined--wow. The Cards GM needs a raise.
  17. I don't think White is a good fit here-I see him more of a 4-3 DE--but there is a gray area there.
  18. Agree 100% but if you have 3 players you'd take and can move back 2-3 spots, it might be worth it
  19. some will fall--and that will make it interesting.
  20. Where was the trade? -no trades leading up to the Panther pick--did you really need me to explain that, or were you just trolling? this takes you to the options the panthers will have. No need to be a dick.
  21. We shall see. SO much depends on the Draft sites you read and trust--I hear people pimping players that I have 4-5th round on--it is based on what we read, and crackheads can write this stuff-we prove that every day
  22. I had the same thought! After posting this, I thought, that is exactly what they should do.
