Somehow we found a worse punter than Charlton

Year 2 of a “rebuild” with no plan at the most important position on the field (QB). Teams do not rebuild in the NFL. You get a franchise QB and then fill in pieces as needed. You don’t draft 7 defensive players and completely gut the entire roster at one time and replace them all with rookies. News flash: we still can’t stop teams from going up and down the field and we can’t win because we still don’t have a QB.

He’s earned it.

This is what happens when you have a coach on a 7 year deal. He doesn’t give a fug. Nothing he says matters and he knows it. He’s still getting paid either way. Why not just lie about everything and sort of half ass it on Sunday.

That was the team doctor. He ended up suing for medical malpractice but his case was eventually dismissed.

13-10 Giants. Matt Rhule once again looks like a college coach in over his head. Darnold throws 1 TD, 2 INT. Gano kicks the game winner after we burn all of our timeouts early in the 2nd half.

And then our brilliant head coach didn't give him a chance to even try out for the team. Why am I not surprised?

It’s going to take a rookie QB about 3 seasons (at least 2) to become a threat to win a super bowl. Now we are in year 2 of the “rebuild” and there’s no recognizable plan for the most important position on the field. O-line and QB should have been addressed simultaneously last offseason. If we draft a QB this year and are fortunate that they turn out to be any good it will be 2023, optimistically, until we really begin to compete again. That’s assuming we can keep adjusting and tweaking the other positions. This is just a mess with no real end in sight. I’ve hated tepper since the beginning. I thought he was just a loudmouth blowhard who cared only about himself. My impressions are turning out to be correct.

I haven’t been to as many games as you. On average I go to one home game a year. I was at the game Sunday and I’ve never heard our crowd boo the team as loudly as they did when the two timeouts were called.

If he’s here it should be as a backup only. This rebuild, as people are calling it, is being done ass backwards. QB and O-line should have been addressed first, before signing and drafting 100 defensive players. We are putting together a roster for a version of the NFL that hasn’t been around for at least 20 years.

For every NFL coach that lost 2/3 of games in his first two seasons there are 1000 bad coaches and a handful, at best, Bill Walshes.

It’s not college. “Young players” excuse doesn’t work for losing coaches. Professional league with a salary cap. The right managers can put a good team together each year. The fact is we haven’t done it. Again.

No surprise that the years we have been any good we had a good QB and a good LT. We really took a jump in 03 when we drafted gross and he lasted through all the playoff runs with fox and Rivera. In 15 we got lucky with Oher who had one good year left in him. this staff and front office are making idiotic moves. You don’t become a contender by signing corners.
