  1. Stop testing and you'll probably never know these guys even have covid. This is madness.
  2. I don’t know why we keep hearing about his year 3 college experiences. There is nothing about this roster which suggests that we are in a position to make any kind of major move next season. In college, a decent team can win 7 games a year just by having more talent than their opponents. In the NFL outside of a team or two (both of which were on our schedule in the first three weeks), the winning team wins because they are better schematically or execution wise than the other team. It’s a chess match and Rhule doesn’t appear to have the intelligence or mental acuity to play the game.
  3. Not surprising who is quoted in that article. A former Temple player who has become very rich because of rhule’s “process.”
  4. Rivera spent two years breaking in a rookie QB, something Rhule has yet to attempt. Rivera did not waste the massive amount of draft capital that Rhule has. Rivera had significant NFL experience and so did his staff. Other than both had losing records in their first two seasons, there’s really no comparison.
  5. This isn’t 2013 and this isn’t the 2013 team. Even assuming you are right, what’s the point?
  6. I think Christensen is a stud at tackle with the right staff and getting rid of losers like Daley and Erving.
  7. Yeah right. There’s no way rhule could ever go 12-4 or 15-1 or make the playoffs, much less a super bowl. People hate on Ron but at least he had some good years. Rhule is one of the worst coaches in the league, if not the worst.
  8. God I hate this team. And this coach. And this owner. An entire collection of losers.
  9. I don’t think any coaches are being scared off. There’s 32 of these jobs and it’s the pinnacle of the football coaching profession. It’s not a choice of Arby’s vs Wendy’s. Most guys would give their left nut for the worst NFL head position.
  10. I’ve never personally hated a coach before. I actually dislike rhule at a very personal level. I think it’s due to his arrogance and being totally out of touch with reality.
  11. Exactly. Even Shula could actually scheme guys open. Remember we played an entire year without even an average NFL receiver on the roster and we went 15-1.
  12. Yes. That person sounds like they might have some credibility.
  13. Someone who comes from an actual NFL coaching background would be a nice plus. I don't want some guy whose ceiling is the Outback Bowl.
  14. There's a couple more weeks until we get to where we can begin interviewing. I'd be ok with firing him after next week or after we lose to the Bucs to close out the home schedule without a win at BOA since September.
  15. With the benefit of hindsight, the 2012 roster was a whole lot better than what we have now. Also, that 2012 stretch to end the season was a lot easier than what we are about to face. I don't think it's a valid reason to keep him around to see if he can turn a corner. We all know that isn't gonna happen at this point. There is no tangible benefit to firing him now other than appeasing angry fans, but damn if I wouldn't love for it to happen.
  16. I can see it now. Rhule comes into the presser after losing 42-17 in week 18 to Tampa to finish the season 5-12. "I think we improved in a lot of areas this year." "We are a good football team. I'm proud of how we prepared every week." "Trust the process." "We are going to get back to work tomorrow morning, I'm excited for next year." Panthers fans
  17. What about this team and this coach's performance so far makes you think there's any chance that a corner will be turned?
  18. Navarro would not have made such a friggin clown our HC and given him near full control.
  19. Nixon was getting a Baylor Bear BJ from Rhule in the booth.
  20. I feel like most posters on this board could do what Erickson does for this team
