  1. Interest in the panthers and the NFL is at an all time low for me. I used to never miss SNF or MNF and I’ve probably watched 30 minutes of those games all year. Didn’t turn on either for one second this week and turned our game off when it hit 21-7. I haven’t attended a home game in 4 years and don’t know when I’ll be back. The team is just a collection of mismatched free agents and awful draft picks who mainly seem like their biggest interest is in collecting a paycheck. I believe Canales when he says he wants to build a culture but realistically the cards are stacked way against that.
  2. If Fitterer was responsible for drafting that player chances are they just need to be cut at the end of the season.
  3. Any list with Bryce Young and “best” in the same category immediately loses all credibility for me.
  4. Thst has nothing to do with Dalton looking like young. The defense was just as bad last week but the game was still relatively close. We were up 7-0 and then got outscored 36-3 by an awful team. The coaching staff is responsible for this result.
  5. The first two games with Dalton I thought were well coached and played to our strengths despite the obvious roster weaknesses. Today it was clear that the bears figured out our offense and our protection scheme and kicked our ass all over the field. Memo to the coach: you can’t just do the same thing every week and expect success, you have to adjust. It’s only one game but getting this badly outcoached by Matt Eberflus (a shitty coach in his own right) is a bit discouraging. Hopefully there will be a strategy change next week.
  6. Well a couple more games and it will be time to “see what Bryce can do.”
  7. Alright, about to go enjoy my Sunday doing something else
  8. Dalton doing his best Bryce impression right now
  9. We are getting embarrassed by a shitty rookie QB
  10. Seems like the tape may be catching up to our offense.
  11. Pretty rare for someone to be that open in the NFL. Pathetic.
  12. Those two games he played might have been the worst two-game stretch of QB play in league history, no hyperbole. Using the eye test it would be hard for me to say otherwise.
  13. I’m saying a 4th is terrible value for such a trade and we can get more if he does have to be traded. A 4th round draft pick is statistically likely to be a role player or have no impact on the team at all. While there are exceptions I don’t consider that equivalent value for a guy who is WR1 at the moment.
  14. The election is coming up soon. There’s more important things to do to make sure they can secure 2-6 more years of a “job” where they do absolutely nothing except line theirs and their friends pockets with special interest legislation.
  15. Yeah a 4th round pick isn’t worth it most of the time. Here’s our 4th round picks since 05: Stefan LeFors Nate Salley Ryne Robinson Mike Goodson Tony Fianmetta Eric Norwood Brandon Hogan Frank Alexander Joe Adams Edmund Kugbila Tre Boston Daryl Williams Ian Thomas (lol) Marquis Haynes Christian Miller Troy Pride Chuba Hubbard Brandon Smith Chandler Zavala JT Sanders That’s 20 picks. Of those 20, right now Boston, Haynes and Chuba have proven to be valuable players relative to the draft position. The jury is still out on Zavala and Sanders. The other 15 were largely useless, either complete busts or marginal role players. Given those odds I’m not trading our best receiver for a 4th. If that’s the offer he stays the rest of the year and we try to do a deal in the offseason. Id consider a 3rd but if a contender loses a key receiver the price could go up.
  16. We got more than one second. It was 4 picks that was more like the equivalent of a first. We should have gotten more but consider who was doing the negotiations at that time.
  17. A 4th for Diontae sounds like something Fitterer might agree to. No thanks.
  18. Only skill players. Running backs and receivers seem to be where it’s at with them.
  19. There is absolutely no way that Bryce can function in a pro offense. We already knew that but watching Dalton (who’s historically just an average NFL QB) makes it even more obvious. The throws we’ve made the last two Bryce couldn’t make in flag football.
  20. I’d rather one unit look like ass than all 3. At least we now know that there’s hope on offense.
  21. Some winnable games coming up. Today we ran into a desperate talented team who had to win. It was a bad spot for us and was always a mismatch with the defense. Combined with the expected bs calls from the refs and it just wasn’t our day. Need to regroup and win in Chicago next week.
