I’d rather see Dalton play like he did against the commanders for 10 more games or watch Plummer than ever see Bryce take another snap for this team. That dude tanked the offseason and did nothing to get better or stronger and came back to camp looking like the same high school kid he did last year. That’s a bitch move from a a guy who was drafted #1 overall. I’d rather see someone who’s giving it their all and still sucking vs an entitled baby like BY.

I agree with this. Our biggest trade asset was McCaffrey and we basically got DJ Johnson for him. The failure to deal Burns for two firsts AFTER we fired Rhule in a lost season was another colossal disaster. These are the types of management decisions that have led to the current state of the team. And Morgan was in the FO for them along with the Bryce deal.
-
Dalton is at least willing to try and make NFL plays and take chances. Bryce either isn’t willing or isn’t able to do that. His last try was against the chargers where he threw “with anticipation” right into double coverage to a guy who was nowhere near open.

Shitting on Hurney is en vogue for decent reasons but he always hit on first round picks. We would be in a lot better shape now if he had just made our first picks the last 4 years. He also raped the Bears for Olsen.
-
And his other pass also went for negative yards. There’s absolutely nothing redeeming about him. He only throws past 10 yards when he gets a running start and is rolling out of the pocket. He is worse than any captain checkdown we could find on the street right now. Dalton at his worst is probably Bryce’s B game. We don’t need to see him again. And playing him lowers his trade value even more every time he takes a snap. I think or hope everyone in this god forsaken organization has decided to stash him on the bench so they can find a taker at the trade deadline.

Someone else said it best, this needs to be treated like an expansion team at this point. Everyone except Brown, the two guards and Brooks, Leggette and Trevin Wallace along with the kicking specialists and Jansen should be subject to being traded or cut.
-
If we cut half of our defensive starters today I don’t think they’d even end up on anyone’s practice squad. It’s amazing in a league designed for parity how we ended up with this collection of garbage.

Just winning a game doesn’t take this team out of that conversation. It’s one of the least competitive teams I’ve seen at a professional level. Normally the talent gap is smaller once you’re a pro franchise but in this case there’s a very wide margin. Mariota ran wild on the defense yesterday and he’s at best a journeyman backup.
-
You know who else used to do that? Rhule.
-
I mean really. He was either hired because he’s a Tepper yes man or he was the only person who would actually take the job or maybe both. There haven’t been any reports of any dissension from Morgan on any of Fitterer’s terrible decisions. This past year’s draft was also very Fitterish. We wasted our top two picks on boom or bust luxury guys when we desperately needed help at non-skill positions. And the back end of the draft looks like wasted picks just like fat Fitt. Do the same dumb poo and get the same results. Regardless of what Tepper says, he’s still running the show behind the scenes

Panthers in the Market for a QB (again): 2025 Draft
BIGH2001 replied to MHS831's topic in Carolina Panthers
There ain’t no way I’m reading all that -
And the case for Scott Fitterer being possibly the worst GM in NFL history continues to build. We are still well within the range of aftershocks due to his complete and utter mismanagement of the roster and resources of this franchise.
-
We aren’t one pick away. Have you watched the defense or do you turn off the tv when they take the field?
-
I’d let him back in in week 17 just to prove he still sucks then trade him for a 7th in the offseason.
-
I don’t understand looking at the Browns to make us feel better. First, it’s the browns. Second, what we did was just as bad or worse because we also gave up a #1 WR and were so bad that we missed out on a second potential franchise QB last year by not having the first pick.
-
He can’t be judged based on the defense right now. The offense has looked a good bit better since he benched the midget. Last week was awful but the bengals and failcunts games it was clear we were just outmatched but kept the games about as close as we could reasonably expect.
-
This is a throwaway season and he knows it too.
-
I’ve been to a few panthers falcons games pre-Tepper when we were actually good and they had very very few fans in attendance at our stadium. Now everyone knows it’s an easy win so they figure why not have a fun road trip with the team.
-
Oh well. Another game check for a bunch of useless vets on our defense.
-
And yet another opposing team’s fanbase takes over our stadium. And it’s not even a strong fanbase.
