We haven’t really faced a good offense so far. These might be two of the better defenses we face this season but I think our schedule is about to get pretty brutal starting on the road at Seattle. They just lit up Detroit yesterday. These games could get very ugly when we can’t keep them close against bad offenses.

We’ve been so bad for so long that there’s now TWO players remaining from our last playoff team: Moton and JJ Jansen.

Underrated comment

Clausen had a few drives too. These guys are all professionals. 95% poo and 5% good. AR and Stroud have so far shown way more ability to move the ball and actually throw downfield. Bryce looks like captain checkdown when he actually gets rid of the ball at all.

Give him 5 more. Bryce Bridgewater.

Tepper should have just guaranteed that contract for Watson. We look like we’re about a decade away from being competitive. Everyone here will be dead before we have another winning season at this rate.

Run the wildcat in the 2nd half. It can’t be any worse. 200 yards passing seems like 500 for Bryce.

I think it was more of a backhanded criticism thread. And there aren’t many bright spots associated with anyone who’s been in charge of this team for the previous 5 seasons. That includes Fitterer’s poo sandwich general management.

Ok. What has he done right? Very little. What has he done wrong? A lot. Is that better?

1. Could have had Parsons and Howell but we got Horn and Corral 2. CJ Henderson - lol 3. TMJ 4. DJ Johnson (we know this is a wasted pick). 5. Not taking the ridiculous compensation for Burns and now likely to overpay or lose him for a lot less 6. Every 2nd and 3rd day pick he’s ever made 7. Unnecessary Gilmore signing 8. Exercising Darnold’s fifth year option before he ever took a snap 9. Ian Thomas extension 10. Being completely uncompetitive in 70% of games during his tenure I’m sure I’m missing about 100 more.

This is the symptom of a bigger problem: a shitty GM. The guy is basically Hurney without even hitting gold on all his first round picks. He overdrafts players, gives up draft capital to move up and make bad picks and overpays JAGs who shouldn’t be on the team. If Hurney had been more active in free agency he’d be Fitterer.

What about Fitterer’s second and third round draft history gives you any hope that he’ll find a worthwhile player there?

Fitterer’s construction of this roster is incomprehensible to me. It’s no better than when Rhule was here when he got a pass bc Rhule was supposedly the coach and GM.

True. Yeah he’s given away draft picks in some really bad deals but his draft history here is also atrocious. It’s a lose lose. Dude got way too much cover under Rhule.

Posting only successful QBs. I mean you could do this list with Zach Wilson, Trey Lance last season, Dwayne Haskins, David Carr, Jamarcus Russell, Sam Darnold and any other number of high pick busts. I bet the stats would all be about the same. This proves nothing either way other than Bryce looked like asshole today.

Just forget about it and get ready for 16 games of CJ Henderson getting burned over and over again. Because our brilliant GM still doesn’t have a better plan B for a guy who can’t play more than 2 games without being hurt.
