    The team took a lot of poo for picking up sam’s 5th year option and rightfully so. The Robby massive extension was almost as dumb and shortsighted as that.

    The only chance we have is if Andersen comes back and plays at a high level. Tampa has enough firepower to beat us at home.

    That doesn’t really make sense considering it’s been night and day at home. I think he’s just an average player who is overperforming with the support of a good home crowd. When he goes on the road in the playoffs all the flaws and shortcomings start to show.

    It would probably help if our goalie could stop shots that 99% of other pro goalies would easily handle. I think if he had done that we would have scored first and maybe could have won last night. The rest of the team came out looking good but Raanta basically handed them the game 10 minutes in when it was 2-0.

    Ok well I'll admit I thought we were done after going into first intermission at 1-1. That offsides call was huge because I think we were headed for a loss without it. It would be nice to see a road win this weekend.

    This team has the same issues in the playoffs every season. They suck on the power play, suck on the road and they have to hope just to win enough games at home to win a series. At what point does the blame start to fall on the coach and the GM who assembled the roster. Where the hell are the “star players?” Aho has been horrible outside of that game 1 goal.
