What DJ Moore did was FLAG WORTHY but this WASN'T?????

I’ll take the browns loss. If we had won that game who knows how much longer Rhule would have been around. -
Yeah, I watched him on the sideline in LA. He was doing this then too. No problem with it.

What people seem to forget is that no one is tanking in the NFL. Houston is still playing to win, they just suck. See yesterday. There’s no way to know which QBs will be any good and the most sure fire pro prospect is going at pick 1 this year. We were never going to get that pick anyway. You are also forgetting that we might have stumbled upon our next head coach during this process which, in my opinion, is pretty important too. Going the unproven coordinator route is certainly no guarantee either.

Are you In favor of bring back Laviska Shenault next season?

He makes plays when he touches the ball. That alone means he’s worth a spot. Our offense doesn’t have many of those guys right now. -
We have just destroyed Seattle’s will. It’s been a long time since we did that to a good team in a hostile environment.
-
And mcadoo’s obsession with trash tight ends continues.
-
They are better than Denver for example. Or the bucs with 100 year old Brady.
-
This defense is only good against bad offenses. Once the comp goes up a level or two they just fold.
-
I knew as soon as I saw the defensive alignment that that was a touchdown
-
Yep this game is about to completely flip
-
Seattle’s offense is too explosive for our defense to just roll over like that.
-
Nah, his regular persona is fake enough.

Who thought it would be a good idea to give Dennis Allen a head coaching job?
-
We aren't going to be in position to draft a QB in round 1 unless we trade up or something. I don't think the way our team is built that a franchise QB is necessary for us to make the playoffs. We just need competence at the position and a guy who can make occasional big throws in spots. Kinda like how we won with Delhomme or the Titans with Tannehill.

Matt Rhule: “I wish I never took the job”

Tepper actually said it would take 5 years to build a winning team so yeah I think he believed it too. -

This guy was just as toxic to our team as urban Meyer was to the jags he was just nicer about it. -
Exactly. Thus far the ceiling for Rhule on his best day has been double digit wins over bad college teams and getting pounded by any legit team. So big 10 west title seems about right.
-
Losing all the Rhule trash has only improved the results on the field. What were any of the departed coaches actually contributing to the team?
-
Based on what’s happened in Denver, I think Pete Carroll should be considered one of the best coaches in league history for keeping that train wreck together for so long and even winning a super bowl that should have been two.

The piniero choke in Atlanta may turn out to be very costly.

Fitterer made that phone call. Luckily Russ wasn’t interested in coming. It’s approximately the same as if we gave up 250 million and about 7 picks for baker based on the results so far. Yuck.

I’d call it job security because he manages to swindle ADs and NFL owners into giving him 7 and 8 year deals.
