Stop taking stupid poo penalities you clowns.

I don’t know. I remember walking outside that morning and thinking that my grass felt like concrete. It was miserably cold.

I want turf too but people keep citing that Christmas Eve game where it was unprecedentedly cold. The grass wouldn’t have felt much better.

NFL insider Jordan Schultz on the #1 pick

2011 wasn’t nearly the 24/7 twitter/hot take/clout chasing crowd that exists now. That’s the issue with it this time. -
NFL insider Jordan Schultz on the #1 pick
BIGH2001 replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
This is exhausting and one of many reasons I hope we never have the #1 pick again. I had no idea it was this bad. -
Hurricanes are rounding into postseason form early.

Neither was Drew Brees.

Looking at Success or Failure of top 10 to 12 QBs since 2000
BIGH2001 replied to Hoenheim's topic in Carolina Panthers
We gave up basically one first round pick which is next year’s. If this doesn’t work out (and there is no way we will know by next year’s draft) we will have a high first round in 2025 and potentially in subsequent years to try again. We also still have #39 this year. -

Because our QB plan in between #1 picks has gone so well. -
Adam Thielen interview with Pat MaCafee...

The culture shift looking back on it was apparent as soon as Rhule got the ax and we dumped chosen Anderson. The team suddenly started playing like a somewhat competent franchise for the first time in 3 years. Now we have a far better staff and good proven players want to come here. Getting rid of Rhule and his bs clearly lifted a burden on everyone, front office included. Now it’s time to win some games. -
Did I say sam had an ego? Reading comprehension, bro. The good teammate and ego references were made because dalton is coming to a situation much like Chicago two years ago where he knows we are drafting a QB with our first pick and he’s not necessarily “the man” on our team. But he will still prepare and play like a pro but will do what’s best for the team. And yes, he’s better than Sam.
-
The first time he fugs up everyone will be clamoring for the rookie. He’s a good teammate and doesn’t have an ego. An upgrade over Sam.

Carolina willing to move Corral. Cost won’t be high.

Better 3rd round pick - Corral or Armanti Edwards? -
Confused Why Some Seem to Think We Got Fleeced
BIGH2001 replied to Daddy_Uncle's topic in Carolina Panthers
It’s way too early to be drawing conclusions about that. We basically gave up one first, two seconds (the lower of our two), and a receiver who isn’t a game changer. The other option was continuing to sign overpriced vets and hoping we finally break through or rolling with Corral or whoever was available at 9 and hoping for the best. This was the right time to make the move. The other route would be more of the same that we’ve been doing since before and after the Cam era and for most of this team’s history.- 364 replies

JOE PERSON: Panthers will not pursue Lamar Jackson
BIGH2001 replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I think Lamar way overplayed his hand here. He's a mobile QB with some history of injuries and not a great playoff record. He's not worth whatever crazy demands he's making. -

Ryan Poles trying to drive up the cost of the #1 pick

The 49ers gave up 3 firsts for Lance and they’ve been in the NFC title game the last two seasons. Having a good coach and GM helps. -
This is the year to go all in. Free agent QBs almost never work out, Stafford being an exception but that rams team was loaded and built for a 1-2 year run. Reich got fired in Indy by going the retread route. They’re kicking tires on Carr. If you’re going to make a splash and I think now is the time, you’ll have to go to 1 to get your guy. It’s risky but certainly no worse than hiring Matt Rhule and letting him spend 2.5 years looking for reclamation projects and generally running the franchise into the ground with his ego. We need a franchise QB period.

Went to high school with him. Taking it way back now.
