Bryce looks like a little kid behind the line
-
Unless you want chandler traffic cone Zavala back there we are stuck with this bum.
-
That’s why I was legitimately asking the question. There seemed to be a lot more plays available to be made with dalton back there. But when Bryce plays we just hear that no one is open and show a few cherry picked plays to prove the point
-
I can’t figure out the andy dalton game. He threw for over 300 yards and guys were sort of open. Did we call different plays or what?
-
This idiot just needs to get out of the business of running sports teams altogether. He clearly sucks at it.
-
The only time he’s done anything is on busted coverage.
-
This might be the game that ends Al Michaels career. 24-10 Chicago
-
Watch his footwork on the pick 6 screen. It’s absolutely atrocious. A number 1 overall QB should at least have good mechanics.
-
Who knows if he can actually play but can he really be worse than TMJ? This team needs speed at receiver.
-
True. Despite what some people thought of him, I think players by and large liked and respected Richardson and he also treated them the right way. Sometimes too much so with the big contracts for vets. But it sure as hell beats a guy who thinks he knows it all and can use the same approach that he used managing hedge funds to run an NFL team.

Dave and James both need to go.
-
People who get paid a lot of money to evaluate football players looked at this roster and concluded that we were “just a QB away.”

If you are employed by Carolina, Thursday is a must win
BIGH2001 replied to CRA's topic in Carolina Panthers
This team will surpass 2001 and 2010 as the worst and most embarrassing editions of this franchise. Every season with Tepper has somehow been worse than the last except for that stretch with Wilks where he was just winging it with nothing to lose. I don’t expect to win on Thursday. The Bears are bad but not that bad. -
At least you finally came around and admitted you were wrong. There’s no avoiding the smelly pile of poo that is David Tepper and this organization. Eventually you just have to acknowledge the truth.
-
His last game was getting his ass kicked 26-3 by the patriots with Sam Ehlinger at QB after his Matt Ryan reclamation project failed. If given a choice between two options Tepper will always pick the wrong one. https://www.cbsnews.com/amp/boston/news/colts-fire-head-coach-frank-reich-after-26-3-loss-to-patriots/

At one point there was a take going around here that Nicole was needed to bring a female perspective and to keep Dave from making a rash decision. Lmao that looks really terrible in hindsight.
-
All I see is a terrible GM and a bunch of really old coaches who are too stubborn or proud to admit that their system isn’t working and needs to be adjusted. Thomas Brown is calling plays but it’s Reich’s offense. Reich is just one of those guys who is a coordinator/position coach type but he’s not a head coach. Nothing wrong with that, lots of guys aren’t built for it. But I’m out on him ever turning this ship around. He looks tired and just done.

Can we stop comparing Bryce to hall of fame QBs? Statistically yes almost all rookies at the position are awful. Also statistically a very tiny fraction of those players go on to have an elite career, winning one or more titles and being considered a true franchise QB. The odds are extremely small that young is Drew Brees or anything remotely similar.

At what point does Fitterer start taking heat too?
BIGH2001 replied to BIGH2001's topic in Carolina Panthers
It amazes me how 90% of this board knew this was the right move over a year ago and our owner not only keeps him but lets him do far greater damage in another offseason. -
Bryce defenders, please give me a reason why you're still hopeful
BIGH2001 replied to TN05's topic in Carolina Panthers
I‘m not a believer but if you’re paying me to make a case for him: 1. He has no real run game threat to take pressure off and open up the defense 2. His receivers lack speed, skill or both and are easy to cover and defend thus giving him little opportunity to make big plays 3. His head coach lacks creativity and the ability to create an effective game plan 4. We have the worst GM in the league by a fairly large margin and a roster that missing depth or actual NFL starters at key positions. 5. Until today he’s been fairly accurate and managed to not actually lose the game while also not doing enough to win it. 6. He’s a rookie. That’s all I got. The list of negatives is longer. -
Young is not trending in a good direction right now.
