Still sad to see folks making Hardy the victim here. He was paid 15 million dollars to sit at home and made an extremely poor decision that ended up dragging the Panthers organization through the mud. He's hardly a victim, nor is it a guarantee he will be innocent, but too many folks on here just can't take off the black and blue glasses. What was fun about the second half of this season was watching a very young team grow up before our eyes. We established a great young core of talent, let Cam become the leading voice of the offense, and set ourselves up in a position to be a consistent winner for the first time in franchise history. Was that an easy process? Absolutely not. But at the end of the day, you'd have a hard time convincing me there wasn't a lot of progress this past season. To bring Greg Hardy back into the fold after all of that progress would be IMO taking a step back and stunting the growth of the young unit that looked like 2013 by season's end. Add in the fact that CJ still has a massive cap number on the D-line and there are a ton more needs on the offensive side of the ball, and bringing Greg Hardy back just doesn't make alot of sense, especially when Rosenhaus is going to be involved in the negotiations.
