This signing did surprise me. It appears as if the main focus in FA was to upgrade special teams, which is fine as it was sorely needed.

The reason Cam isn't in a hurry to sign a contract
Jon Snow replied to GoobyPls's topic in Carolina Panthers
I'm sorry, I didn't realize you rode the short bus. Ignore my attempts to enlighten you on reality. Good luck with that. -

I certainly cannot think of a single instance for that happening. -

Please show me where anyone has made that claim. I certainly haven't crowned his ass the best GM there is. Unlike the majority of you whiners I understand the situation he's in and his plan to turn it around. I also know that it's not going to turn around overnight. If Cam does leave so be it. I know, Franchise QB' don't grow on trees yada yada. Spare me the rants about Cam being this once in a lifetime irreplaceable QB. With that said, Cam will be offered a contract befitting his value to the team. If it matches Cams value of himself then the team will have a pretty good QB for the next 5 years or so. If not, then we will be looking for his replacement. Until then, let it go. -
The reason Cam isn't in a hurry to sign a contract

Who cares? He either wants to be part of what they are building or he doesn't. I'm a Panthers fan, not a player fan and Cam, although a pretty good QB, is not the GOAT and cannot dictate what this team does regarding player acquisitions. And before you call me a hater, I was on board with drafting him from the start. -
Why Gettleman is a GM... and you aren't.
Jon Snow replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
Be careful who you refer to as an idiot lest you be referring to yourself. -

It's hard to miss when it's in every damn post on every damn page. -

If you guys hate the team and it's decisions so much then why in the hell do you still follow this team? Seriously? All I see is you two constantly bitching and moaning about things you know absolutely nothing about. If you were such a great talent evaluator why are you not employed in the profession? I think I speak for 98 percent of this board when I say give it a rest, we get it, you're a genius and the FO is bumbling idiots. -
Gettleman: Oher can be answer at left tackle
Jon Snow replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
The draft is certainly the preferred option, maybe the only option this year. What round is anyone's guess as it depends on the value. At least he will go after some UDFA's, right? -

I sure hope he's right. But I'd bet Gettlemen will have a backup plan this time. -
This is all about special teams folks. Calm down!

Mr Scot is rustling some Jimmies up in here. Masterful job I must say.

I can fat lip one like no other!

Report: Ndamukong Suh Signing A $114M Contract With Dolphins
Jon Snow replied to NcPsa10's topic in Carolina Panthers
That's a ridiculous contract even for a guy like Suh. No DT is worth that much money. -
Someone will overpay for his services. I'm fairly confident it won't be nippleshorts.

You win. It's your world brother so have at it. Peace!
-
I don't. Why should anyone? Brain Williams? Really?

Face down ass up fixes ugly... rookies

You're assuming I'm emotionally invested in this as you obviously are. You also seem to be under the illusion that I give a sh*t one way or the other. Scot and I were simply trying to remind you of the fact that the media does not care about facts, truth or the rule of law. They, like politicians, know that the majority of the listening public will believe anything they spew and will not take the time to actually research the facts. Not one single entity with a voice that's heard by the masses gives one iota of the thought about what really happened that you keeping preaching. But you go ahead a scream to all that's Holy about the injustice being done to Hardy. Everyone else is moving on.

Oh it will get worse when he's suspended.
-
You're wasting your time explaining it. The irony of his relentless obsession with the issue is lost on him.

You will not hear one mention of anything negative about her from the media. She's the victim and nothing you or I could say will stop that narrative from filling the airwaves. Get use to it.

Maybe for you and I but not to the people with an agenda an a means to promote it.
