Quick Scott Fitterer appreciation thread…
Jon Snow replied to FuFuLamePoo's topic in Carolina Panthers
This has me thinking of who this band of merry misfits running the show in BOA reminds me of. You've got Rhule, the caption. Kirk Snow, the science officer/genius Spock Brady, the navigator. Chekov Fitterer, the engineer. Scotty Or I've watched too much Star Trek in my informative years. -
That's a Cowboys fan.

I think they would rather have young guys with upside with coaching. Older vets are only stop gaps at best. This far into the season is not the best time to bring in olinemen if you want them to start right away. Anyone brought in now would not start right away. We will be better off starting the rookies if it comes down to immediate need due to injury. I can't see them shelling out big money on a backup vet.

This is the Turning Point Game of the 2021 Season

So you're saying we have to beat the refs again also. Sounds about right.

Panthers about to trade for CJ Henderson?!?!
Jon Snow replied to joemac's topic in Carolina Panthers
Rhule said in his presser that Henderson is a long term investment/project (can't remember which word he used) that he wasn't in a rush to get on the field, whatever that means. I think he knows he has some work to do with Henderson. -
Plus, if there were good offensive linemen everywhere then explain why 3/4's of the teams are still looking for them.

It doesn't matter how good old Teddy two gloves plays elsewhere. He didn't play that well for us so he didn't benefit us one damn bit. He fails to mention that one little crucial tidbit.

Panthers about to trade for CJ Henderson?!?!

I doubt we will come out this trade worse than we were going in. The kid is too talented not to take a chance on. -

We sweetened the deal with superstar Dan Arnold. But for only a 3rd and they would have to give us a 5th to ease the pain of losing such a huge part of our offense. How could they say no to that? -
So he's not the worst qb ever as has been foretold by the Huddle soothsayers? Now what's the odds of that.
-
Weak. You guys have to do better.
-
So that makes this deal even better in my book. We get him in year two of his rookie deal and potentially for years to come. Just have to see if he fits because you can't deny his talent.
-
They were trying to get him during training camp. I think they know what they need to know.
-
He should write Rhule and tell him how it's done. He just might get a job.
-
They didn't do nothing, they have tried to add to the competition. You act like they didn't sign or draft a single offense lineman. These guys have had to start a different guard lineup each game due to injury. There is little to no chemistry between them. The rookies not ready but are going to start eventually and there will be another round of FA lineman and rookies next season. This is Fitterererrr's first season at fixing this mess, give the man a break and let him finish putting this thing together.
-
That's why I say that if he will not play for Matt Rhule he's a lost cause. Matt knows something we do not.
-
No, it's been 2. You can't put the other 5 on this crew.
-
I'm sure Rhule and Fitty are well aware of his mental state before even considering this trade. Also, the Jags were looking for a 2nd round pick when Myer made the choice to part ways with him. I'm sure the other rumors around the guy didn't help matters. You know how rumors are. Their loss. If he won't play for Rhule he's a lost cause. But I cannot see that happening.
-
He will help Trevor a bit. I think they also have Manhertz as well.
-
This is true. South Florida is basically Porta Rico and Cuba.

Tommy Tremble on Ascending Up On the Depth Chart
Jon Snow replied to Ocpanthertew714's topic in Carolina Panthers
That's how you do it. Make the starter expendable. That's called depth for those that are not use to seeing it. Give it time and there will be depth everywhere. -
I think the panthers will win the games as best they can.

3d chess. Of the QBs taken in the draft only 1 has landed with a team that will possibly develop him. I'll let you decide which one. The rest are fuged in that regard.
