Willis is a long term enormous gamble. You would have to sit him for at least 1 season possibly 2 or more. In that situation you are dumping PJ while keeping Sam. You would also have to bring in a vet to put Sam on the bench or on the street. Or you keep Sam as the starter and PJ as the backup until Willis is ready. You will have to extend Sam or get someone else until Willis is ready, if he ever is. It will be the almost the same for any of these QB'S I'm afraid.

I watched those guys movement and listened intently to the trainer on how he spoke about those guys and how they would probably project in the NFL. What caught my attention was how he often used the words RT for Cross and G for Neal. He also stated Penning was versatile but was projecting him as a guard. I never once hear him call any of them as a NFL LT unless I just missed it. Iky was not in the camp which I was disappointed with so I am now just not sure where these guys end up to be honest.

I can attest to that. I have become more open with my thoughts and a bit of a loud mouth as I have gotten older. Not that my options matter to anyone, that's not why I do it. Robby's play will effect his career more than his mouth. When can hold onto the ball on crucial downs he can talk all the smack he wants. As the old saying goes "Don't talk the talk if you can't walk the walk."

If the Panthers were to take one of these qb's the round they are taken in will not matter. They would have to beat out both Sam and PJ to actually start. That's not going to happen with any of these qbs in this draft. So you are drafting a developmental qb for a season or two from now. You will be replacing either Sam or PJ on the roster. Why you say? Because they need a vet that can win. Sam is a backup and PJ belongs in the USFL.

Growing up I knew some older guys that would noodle in the rivers around home. The largest I have actually saw we 38 pounds. Was told the guy also pulled one just over 50 from the same "big rock". Needless to say the river those came from were not that wide or deep, but I just cannot see sticking your arm in a deep hole under a rock and letting whatever is in there latch onto it. Nope, not even on naked and afraid would I do that. These folks go under water for those things! Crazy I tell ya.

Teddy's sin was he criticized a coach and they way he ran the team. If you think race is a qualifier that a coach or owner would have for his qb you are delusional. It only matters if they can play the game and win. Race only matters to the fans that think it does.
