  1. I have but it gets buried in the posts and no one listens. I'm just going to let everyone keep saying this as if it somehow works. Please carry on.
  2. Why are you telling us? We can't do a damn thing about what the team does in the field or in the draft. We can only cheer or boo depending on the results. You are preaching to the choir son.
  3. This looks like 2 teams that are trying to out suck each other. This is what tanking looks like.
  4. It better be a QB or DE in the 1st if we are drafting in the top 10. We already have our LT. Hell I believe you should only draft 3 positions in the 1st and that's QB, LT or DE. I could go DT or DE/LB in the to 20. But in the top 5 to 10 that would be my top targets unless I had a full cupboard of the 3 already. After that I would target WR or TE if the opportunity presented itself to get a good one. By then we would be drafting in the 28 to 32 range so the sky's the limit.
  5. It probably mean that he will call the game differently and rotate personnel more frequently. That's about all he can do besides running different plays.
  6. Hire Kevin Colbert as a consultant please. And most of all listen to the man.
  7. I guess I tend to look at things like influence through a seniority lense. I'm trying to motivate a team of individuals are like herding cats, it's almost impossible. People tend to relate to someone through common experiences in life. It's a generational thing that only someone of you generation can relate to. In sports or the corporate world it's all the same. In a typical successful organization the senior managers are older and more experienced just as in sports with coaching. And just like the corporate world there is a point where a disconnect between managers and the hierarchy of the remaining staff just cannot communicate. They cannot communicate on the same level because technlogy and HR have made the guys with the most knowledge and experience obsolete.
  8. I wouldn't be so sure it was Tepper who chose Wilks. He may have suggested or even issued a directive to someone else that a competent nfl coach be hired. Someone with nfl head coaching experience but not specifically who that must be. Now having said that, I would not be surprised if he also didn’t give a second direct to a certain individual to look for a possible replacement for the person that is the reason for why he had to issue the first directive. But that just me.
  9. The only problem I see with those guys is that they have not evolved with the game. It's hard to predict how their system will compliment or mesh with these players that are young enough to be grandkids to most of the coaches.
  10. They are like having the huddle translated from text to audio. I would have to go stone cold sober on my huddle fixation.
  11. J Stew should be a broadcaster for the team. I'm not a podcast listener but I may consider listening to his. Those other guys though.
  12. It just seems like there's quite a few...umm...relics on that list.
  13. My theory, besides the 49s playing prevent defense, is that the calls were different, same plays they all know but using the wr's he's practiced with.
  14. As my grandpa would say "You know what arguing with a fool makes you? A fool ".
  15. It's going to be hilarious around here when Sam has to start. The wailing and nashing of teeth will epic. It will be even more hilarious if he performs well. And the same folks that he's touched in their privates are going to go full on meltdown. But anyway, it's going to be a revolving door between the qbs this season.
