So the money is on taking a qb at this point? I'd say that's a safe bet.

You asked what I would do, not Rhule. What he will do is fu k it up worse than it is now.

Nothing this season. Next offseason is when they should go all in on someone, assuming we have a new regime. This current crew will just screw it up anyway so I'm with standing pat.

He will stay on the field. He is not as injured as one thinks.

It didn't produce any titles. But I admit as bad as they are we seem to be trying to unseat them for the worst ran team. We seem to be trying to immulate the worst teams in the NFL. I would say the goal has been achieved.

The league would never allow it. It's too much of a competitive advantage.

Ask yourself this, is there any available FA's or players in this draft that can put this team over the top? Hell, is there any available QB's either by trade or in this draft that could even get them out the nfcs basement? No, Watson will not do it either. Yes it's that bad. Nothing done this offseason will produce anymore wins than they've managed so far. If the nfcs sucks enough they might manage to pick up an extra win but that's debatable as it stands now.

That makes even more sense. It is the way.

So in a loaded tackle draft that we are sitting at pick 6 we throw a ton of cap at an aging FA tackle. Makes sense.

Brother your guess is as good as anyone's. Nothing the team does makes any sense.

This team doesn't have any cornerstone players. They've floundered around for 3 years trying to replace what few they did have.

I would rather it be cut or traded.

Why? This team is not anywhere close to competing. Throwing money at overpriced FA's is not helping them get out of this mess they've created. PS, if those OL were worth signing they would never have hit FA.

This team is rudderless and it shows.

That always works out so well. Especially for a bottom dwelling teams like the Panthers.

Thankfully it doesn't work like that. But I'm with you on it not making any sense. I suspect they are pushing the cap hits down the road for some unknown reason. Whatever it is will probably not work out.

If they give honest opinions it might be worth a listen. I suspect it will mostly be as mouthpieces for the team.
