It is a bit unusual for us to have this issue but it's better than the alternative. Baker really did have to prove himself here, that I agree with. He has struggled a bit so it was wise to see it through even though we knew what the outcome would be. Even though I am not a fan of Rhule he is doing the right thing with Baker. He needed an attitude adjustment if he was going to be here and he's getting it. Hopefully it pays off for us. Now what to do with PJ and Sam is another story. I'm curious to see how Rhule handles that.

So who's playing with the 2's tonight? I presume it's PJ. If it is PJ or Corral I would expect them to look rough with limited practice. I am torn on playing Corral as he's had little to no reps in practice so playing him tonight is going to be brutal to watch. But I would like to see how he responds to adversity on the field. Maybe that's the plan, by playing him with having little practice reps is to see how he responds. Knowing Rhule it wouldn't be out of the question for him to come up with something like that.

One of them is going to be the backup qb. I don't think it unwise to make sure they pick the right one.

Not a clue. I do not spend time looking at other teams rosters to see if there may be a potential TE that may be cut or someone worth trading for. I'm just not a fan of going after a washed up never was.

I was watching the game at home with my wife, 4 year old and 1 year old sons who are Panthers fans. I was 40 years old at the time and we went crazy as soon as Smitty caught it. I was screaming "HE’S GONNA SCORE! HE’S GONNA SCORE! IT'S OVER BABY!" My 4 year old was dancing all over the living room and my wife was in tears. She couldn't believe it and was shaking all over. She was a reck by the time the second overtime started. So was I honestly.

Depends on how healthy they stay on offense. That alone could determine whether they suck or make the games worth watching again. It could go either way.

I would prefer they pursue someone younger and with more potential myself. But that's just me.

I thought it was the Giant's? Either way I agree. Rhule was way in over his head as a first year nfl head coach, on top of that he was given full control. What could possibly go wrong?

Too many "if's" have to go our way to have a winning season much less make a playoff push. Not going to happen.

My guess is that it was Rhule that pushed for Mayfield. Well pushed may be the wrong word. I would say he was the first and final vote on the matter.

It was a good play by the defenders. Sometimes the defense wins.

I thought Kirkwood help his stock yesterday until he got hurt.

Neither are really a good backup at the moment. But they(Rhule) seem to think PJ has a good shot at #2. I however do not believe it. Sam is the backup this season whether anyone wants to hear it or not. His salary and Bakers play will keep him here one more season. Corral should be #3 going forward.

The crucial decision that should have been made weeks ago is who is going to be the backup. Should have picked Sam or PJ and moved on. The moment they drafted Matt PJ should have been cut, or at least when Baker was traded for.

I hate to tell you this but PJ looked the best out of our 4 qb's today. Let that sink in for a minute.
