  1. Luvu chased the money and didn't want to be here. Can't say as I blame him.
  2. Tepper just needs someone that has experience making decisions for him that's above the GM. That would completely remove him from the decision making. Solves everyone's problems including Tepper.
  3. I'm telling you it's in Teppers wheelhouse.
  4. Can you smell it? It's Teppers big brain grinding its gears.
  5. Keep an eye on the Purdy situation. The 49ers are looking to upgrade and he's perfect for someone like Tepper to focus on.
  6. Yeah that screams the owner stepping in to voice his opinion. I thought they would at least give him 3 or 4 games to get it together before pulling him in game. That's how it's done normally and not let it go on all game and 24 hours later decide. It's still a mess in BOA.
  7. It's happened but it depends on the player. It's been a long time ago but it's not unprecedented. Now giving up on a 1st overall pick this soon, if they truly have, is a record. It usually takes 2 seasons at least. So this story is not over yet. Young will most likely be forced to play again soon enough as Andy has a shelf life as a starter a 15 games is a huge ask of him at his age.
  8. You just describe all media today. The truth is not what is important. It's what I say it is.
  9. Dalton will be lucky to make it through the first game. Wouldn't it be ironic if Andy goes down on the first play and Young has to finish the season anyway?
  10. No it was Fitterer and Dave. It all starts there. Only 1 of those 2 are left.
  11. Funny thing is Bryce may be the only qb from this group on the roster next season.
  12. It's why Jack Plummer played so much in preseason. Andy was hurt.
  13. All true. But there's always some coach that will think they can fix him and get him back to the qb he was in college. Hell, look at the support he's getting today in the media. Most thinks it's the support around him that's failed him. If that's true then they are better off letting that be the narrative going forward and trade him at seasons end where hopefully they can get something of value other than a 5th for him. Is it likely that it happens? Probably not. But i would ride that narrative as long as I could.
  14. I would be. As much as he sucked so far the team still needs to hold onto him this season at least. Things can change in an instant in the nfl as well as fortunes. This story is not over yet.
  15. He's done here for sure. Some team will take a chance on him when he finally cut.
  16. You will find that most of those scouts are still sticking by him. It's the Panthers that screwed this up. But in the same breath they will say they had to sit him. Then they say the Panthers destroyed a promising young qb.
  17. That's my preference. Stop looking for the next Cam and try to find the next Delhomme. There's a better chance you will find a guy similar to Jake than Cam. Cam is a once in a lifetime qb the likes of which the world will never see again.
  18. I agree to an extent. But their point is still valid. This team has been ass at selecting and developing players.
  19. NFL network is blaming the organization for Youngs destruction. They use Darnold and Mayfield as proof this team is a mess and terrible with developing players. Says things are dysfunctional in Carolina and no qb can succeed here.
  20. Of course. Benching Young only fixed 1 of the many issues this team has. Everyone was so focused on him that everything else took a backseat. We haven't hit bottom yet.
  21. Way too early for this. The best will reveal themselves by seasons end.
