I suspect that if Eason were farther along in the playbook he would have been elevated over PJ before now whether PJ was injured or not. PJ is one of Rhule's guys remember. As soon as Darnold is healthy he will either start or backup Eason until Sam is up to game shape. PJ will go to the practice squad or the unemployment line.
