It is. It comes from experience in the nfl and working under a great teacher. It's also getting your team to believe in what you are doing and each other. Not every great coordinator can pull all of that together and lead a group of men to win every year. Especially since half the team is new players every year.

It the old school approach. It still works if you can run the ball and have a good defense. Get a decent game manager and you can win a lot of games if you stay healthy.

Well I wouldn't call Tannerhill borderline anything but average myself but my standards may be skewed a bit. The Titans run an old school ground and pound conservative offense. It's centered around the run game and a game manager qb. Its the very conservative style approach that everyone says is antiquated.

Obviously not or I wouldn't be asking. Their defense looks decent but the offense seems to be all Henry.

Are you telling me that Tannerhill is a franchise qb? He's better than Baker and Sam sure but that's about as far as I'm willing to go. I think the Titans are winning in spite of him.

There is no way they can ride Henry at this pace and expect him to last through the season much less the playoffs.

The snow blowers couldn't keep up with snow fall. Last report I saw was calling for 4 feet of snow. It still would be fun to see them try anyway.

You got believe Fitterer is under a lot of pressure to come up with answers as to how he’s going to fix this mess. Fitterer has to answer for his own sins as GM. That’s how I read the room around BOA. -
I'm keeping tabs on the qbs everyone is wild about. So far I must say I'm a bit surprised by how the more I watch the less impressed I am. I don't watch enough college football to scout the lesser knowns so I leave that to the professionals.

Getting the HC and GM right is step one. Step two is those two have to get the qb selection right. That's why I say it's too early to drool over any of these qb's in the draft. We haven't started step one yet.

I get the feeling that some in the building didn't believe Baker "won the competition for starting qb" as Rhule put it. But since Sam got hurt it was a moot point. Now that Sam can play that may churn things up once again. Who knows? It is all just speculation anyway. I'm not going to lose anyway sleep over it.

Sam is backing up Baker this Sunday correct? I suspect that Sam will start the next game after this if he doesn't have to come in Sunday and take over because Baker is stinking up the joint.

That seems to be exactly what they are doing. Wilks even said he bases who starts on that weeks opponent. Baker will play until he throws a pick or two and then it's next man up. It will be Sammy time before you know it.

I think that's the rationale being used by "some in the FO". They've seen Baker and PJ in McAdoos offense so now it's time to throw Sam out there. Even if it's against the objections of the fans. It is what it is.

It could be that Wilks wants to see Sam play more for whatever reason. It doesn't really matter unless they start winning with Sam. Then this place will lose it's mind. Can you imagine if he starts Sam and they win out? That meltdown alone would be worth the price of admission to watch the panick up in here.

I'm sure something is afoot. It could simply be to shop Sam and Baker for whatever if anything they can get. Or it could simply be to piss off the fans. Either way it doesn't bother me one bit.

It is probably Fitterer asking for this. Maybe at the behest of Tepper who knows. I'm sure they want to wring out ever penny of that 18 million out of him before he's cut loose. Maybe it's a way of thumbing his nose a Rhule if he believes Sam is truly better than Mayfield. Who knows. It's going to happen regardless so might as well pop some popcorn and enjoy the show.

Well they do need a backup and they have 3 to choose from. So why not see if one of them has something to work with? Yes they all have a shelf life but so does every backup in the league. It's a business decision and I agree with it whether the huddle can take it or not. It told you all the everyone is auditioning for next year and that includes the FO.
