  1. Yeah I love my solitude. But I also love my internet connection, at least for now. I still need it for work.
  2. I'm already paying $80 for internet and $80 for YouTube TV. I'm guessing my YouTube TV bill is now going to go over $100 to pay for this. Edited to add that even at that speed I need to use a cat5 cable to stream HD properly.
  3. Damn! That sucks. I live in Haywood County and we either pay Charter for the internet service or a wireless service. I get 200+ mbps easily here but I'm not that far out from the control station even though I live in a rural area. AT&T is a joke.
  4. That is the kicker with streaming services. You need a good internet connection. That will be the only thing that keeps the cable companies alive. You need wired connections because wireless just can't deliver the speeds needed for HD streams. Especially in remote areas.
  5. I haven't had cable TV in a decade. I dropped satellite TV 3 decades ago. Where have y'all been? I'm over 60 by the way.
  6. I guess my bill is getting ready to increase to pay for this.
  7. All this worry that Wilks will get the job is pointless. Tepper is going to Tepper so you just gotta roll with it. If Wilks is the next coach then so be it. I will hope like hell he's the guy or we'll be looking again in a couple of years. It is what it is.
  8. Of course they will. It just won't be Young or Stroud. That's what has the tankers up in arms. I find it mildly amusing myself.
  9. I do not think anyone is suggesting anything like that. I doubt anyone has said anything remotely close about him being the answer. Its just something positive in an otherwise crappy performance by the team. Especially for Sam Darnold. I'll take it over the usual Sam Darnold passing performance.
  10. They are going to unleash him when they get in the playoffs. He's going to go uncle Rico on the competition and bring home the trophy. Just wait and see.
  11. Most of them may not be here next season.
  12. Not a bad list of prospects. I think you guys are worrying about draft position too much. All of them will need a season of preparation before you could even consider starting them. Better get this coaching hire right. And please don't talk to me about bridge qb's. I would rather take my chances with another season of PJ and get better draft position to beef of the team in other positions.
  13. He knew how to build one hell of a 3-4 defense.
  14. Well with Burns it's a different story. That situation is up for debate. But this is a Bozeman thread and do not want to derail it. Besides I've said my piece on that subject.
  15. Pay him 12mil a year and never look back. Do not second guess this one. Have you all forgotten how bad this oline was? This is a critical position we are talking about here you dopes.
  16. All of them got worked Sunday. That's a blocking scheme breakdown. Pittsburgh figured out how to use it to their advantage and turn it into a disadvantage for the Panthers. It took us the rest of the game to figure out a new blocking scheme to counter them. By that time the defense had already sh*t the bed so bad our putrid offense had no chance to recover. From then on it was damage control.
  17. The Cowboys were the Steelers mortal enemies back then. Those games were the most fun to watch and featured so many great players. The games were brutal back then. It damn near was a gladiator sport. Damn I'm getting worked up just thinking about those epic games. The Cowboys were the media favorites much like they are today. So naturally everyone loved an underdog that challenged them Cowboys. The Cowboys were proud of themselves and weren't afraid to show it. The Steelers were winning but were written off as the same old Steelers the cannot win. Their wins were a fluke and the Cowboys are the best. Well naturally the Steelers took offense to being snubbed and kicked it up a notch. They went on to win 4 SBs in 6 years and produced more hall of fame players than anyone ever thought they could. F#CK THE COWBOYS!!! America's team my ass.
  18. I was 11 years old and was just getting into pro football at the time. I remember being at my cousins house and it was too cold to play outside so my aunt turned on the TV and told us sit down and watch the game. I remember it like it was yesterday. We both decided to cheer for Pittsburgh because we liked the uniform colors. I remember to this day the bewildered look my cousins face, as I'm sure I was too, and the reaction both of us made when realized he caught that ball, you couldn't really tell at first from the camera angle on tv. As soon as they announced it was a catch we lost it. I even remember that ugly green shag carpet we were laying on when we jumped up in the air screaming. Which scared the crap out of my aunt. Anyway, I became a Steelers fan that day and remained one until the Panthers were founded. The one thing that has always remained the same from my days as a diehard Steelers fan to now being a diehard Panthers fan is this, we share the same sentiment towards the Cowboys. F#CK THE COWBOYS!!! Franco, You were the spark that ignited a fire that became the Steelers dynasty. RIP
  19. They are worth much more than a good wr. The two most important positions on the oline are 1. LT and 2a. Center. A good RT is important but somewhat easier to draft and develop over the first but it's certainly critical. So it is 2b., some will argue differently so whatever. Guards are 3rd in that order. A mountain of a man like Bozeman who can anchor the middle the way he does? The one person that touches the ball every play other than the qb and calls protections for the oline? Yes, he is absolutely worth every penny.
  20. Welcome to the front row brother. Until any of that is decided you cannot worry about the future of this team. Sit back and enjoy whatever is left of the final act of the Carolina Panthers season. I for one am eager to see how this comedy of errors ends.
  21. That's why I do not worry about anything other than seeing them pull out a win. This offenseason is going to get really interesting. Hell Tepper may go after Aaron Rogers in the offseason. Anything can and will happen.
  22. We have zero control over anything in these games other than our own emotions. I prefer to be happy with the wins however they come than to sit around and be miserable about hypothetical outcomes as a result. I bet some of these guys are a joy to be around during the holidays.
