I'm sure now that they have gotten a good look at the starters and the depth they've had to adjust quite a bit. The depth is little to nothing to speak of and there's nothing on the street that's going to change that. It will be duct tape and bailing wire to hold it together if injuries set in until the seasons over.

He fits right in...until he doesn't. Just goes to show how fast one can lose his job in the nfl. It's step up or move on under this new regime.

I think Corall, Smith, Jenson and McCall make it. I predict Erving is cut along with Jordan.

That doesn't change what he wanted to see. Just because the players didn't execute the plays the way they were supposed to do doesn't change what the goal was. Unless you think it was part of the play design to screw it up? If you hadn't noticed everyone is making mistakes. Even the coaches. It's a work in progress.

If there is they are an adoration. I remember when journalists were unbiased and sought out the truth and did honest investigation into their reporting. Apparently journalism school has dropped that part of the curriculum from their degree requirements.

But it's about the clicks! There's no journalism anymore. It's all hot takes and opinion pieces.

It's a good possibility they do start out slow. There's just too many things that have to come together before they can truly compete. The sooner it starts clicking the better you will be able to determine the true talent on this team. I just don't think it's deep enough and skilled enough in key areas to be able to compete right away. They could surprise us all and come out firing on all cylinders. I just can't see it though because there's just too much turnover to be in a rhythm right out of the gate.

He might. He's a smaller RB but he's fast and elusive.

I like Ahmad. He has good hands but he's not a bruiser. It would be interesting to see where he ends up.

Not to mention that 6, possibly 7, of the 11 starters on offense are new. Only 1 of those are on the oline. None of them have played together before and all of them are learning a new system. And they all are lead by a rookie qb. On defense there are 5 new starters. That's 5 of 11 new players on defense that is learning a new scheme that most of them have never played before. So yeah, that doesn't sound good for us. Not this season. But we can reck some playoff hopefuls dreams while they get their feet under them.

Zavala looked like a rookie playing out of position. He had more good snaps than bad so that's good. Jordan is just bad. I cannot see any way he makes the roster. -

I'm still a little disappointed in the defense. At least we get a reality check on the depth before it starts to count. I'm impressed by how fast this board turned on the coach and the team. I think it might be a record. -
It went about how I expected it would considering the approach they are taking to these games. My expectations for the season is that it will be a mixed bag of success and failure. This team has had too much turnover on offense and its thin on playmakers to expect too much this season.

I must be the only person not freaking out about this game.
