We are not winning much this season so you can forget about that. The kid needs all the reps in live action he can get. -
Sanders ran into a lot of scrums as well. I just don't know what they were looking at in the first half.

It might have been that. But if both had just bounced one of those stuffed runs outside it could have been a different ballgame. I'm not sure what they were looking at on both of those 1 yard runs on the first drive but they had the outside wide open. There was so many "missed opportunities" in this game that I'm sure when they look at the tape they will be kicking themselves.

He didn't look like he had a good game. Chubba looked like he had the better game. Neither seemed to know where the outside lanes were, but Hubbard found the hole the most, at least from my old eyes anyway.

No, but it's not about yesterday's game. I have been lukewarm about the team for almost a decade now. Yesterday did not change anything. I went into the game expecting we would lose.

That will depend entirely on the next offseason. They need to add some more talent from where I sit to be a real threat. But yeah, I expect for them to make some noise in 2024 if they are spared from a lot of injuries. I think we win the nfcs in 2024. With a little luck we might do it this year.

I'm optimistic about the future for the first time in nearly a decade. That doesn't mean I'm not realistic about the team and their chances this season. Believe it or not its possible to be both at the same time.
