If he weighs in at 245 at the combine we may not get a chance to pick him. I've seen him listed as low as 215. I'm going to be looking at the official weigh-in.

I think those 3 may be available at 8. Although I'm less sure on Walker as we get close to the Combine.

I'm guessing that if they pick Walker it's to replace Shaq. I'm also predicting that Wallace will eventually replace Jewell.

If they miss out on him they still have a shot at 2 or 3 possible day 1 starters. I'm not ruling out the possibility of trading down however.

You would be surprised at how scouts and teams see his skills. His versatility at LB and edge make him a very valuable asset. There's a small chance he may not be there when the Panthers are in the clock. If there's a run at QB the Panthers are sitting pretty. If teams are smart and pass until round 2 then the Panthers may be screwed. Pray for much stupidity in the top 6 picks.

I think he's the pick barring something crazy happening in front of us. This is a tough draft to read who the actual top 10 are. Walker could go before we have a shot at him or we have the choice between him and the Michigan DT. I've also seen him drop all the way to 23. It's anyone's guess.

I watched the Senior Bowl practice and let me tell you Deonne Walker was throwing OL players 2 at a time. They finally triple teamed him once to just get a pass off in "PRACTICE". That dude is a beast.

I'm starting to doubt if Skattebo will make it to the 4th pick. He got a lot of love on GMFB and scouts love the kid. Quite a few think he's RB 2 in this class even though he's not the fastest they say he's the toughest to bring down. Keep an eye on the talk coming out of the combine.

They really need to hit on at least half of those picks. They may not be world beaters but they need contributors everywhere.

I don't. I've looked at the top 50 players in this class and I struggled to see 10 that could start day 1. No qb's can start day 1 from this class. It doesn't mean they won't start as teams are desperate, we are 1 of them. But starting a defensive player too early is not nearly as bad as starting a qb too early.

He was overrated to begin with. He's a mid first round selection compared to his class.

I think they both need to kill it at their pro days and in interviews. Neither have a resume that screams an nfl qb. If they're not careful someone could sneak in ahead of one of them, if not both. Neither should start year one.
