I don't do what it's. You will get caught up in and endless second guessing of everything. Make a decision and move on. It works or it doesn't. If it doesn't, sift through the aftermarket for survivors and begin again. If does work then who give a sh*t what it cost.
-
Sounds like points shaving/illegal gambling/betting of some sort that get the feds involved, if it's not something worse.
-
At this point the cost is irrelevant to me. I just want results or proof of life from all of this. So far it's been one contradictory decision after another with this group. Nothing is working.
-
I'm not concerned about any of that because it falls squarely on the shoulders of Scott Fitterer. He is the architect of this mess and I'm just going to sit back and watch it unfold.

Some newb that doesn't know what's up. Maybe this will expose the cockroaches that infest this joint.

Give me a reason to be excited about the future of this team
Jon Snow replied to TN05's topic in Carolina Panthers
It takes time to see if this experiment is going to work. But as bad as it looks now this team is in better hands than it's been since Tepper took over. It's still a weak team overall. It's like fighting with one hand tied behind you. This season will be a measuring stick going forward. Next offseason is setup to be the make or break moves for a lot of folks with this team. The outcome next year will tell you whether it's working or we are headed back to square one. Building a supporting cast on offense with be crucial for Fitterer IMO. I've been on the fence about him for awhile now. I'm ready to say that he's not helping this team with his decisions and should go unless he makes a serious turnaround. -
ALL HAIL @SCP!!!

He's bipolar. -
Acceptance. That's me.

I said that before they played their first game. But that wasn't a popular opinion around here so I was shouted down. I think there's a few among us that still doesn't get it. I'm also not so sure there's a lot of diversity in thought going on with the offense right now.

Panthers' Offense: Some Core Concerns Surfacing Early
Jon Snow replied to Bear Hands's topic in Carolina Panthers
This ^^^^ -
Has anyone said he sucks yet? No? Well its not Bryce that's the problem. It's the entire offense. Running backs can't run. Receivers can't get separation and Frank has such a tight leash on the offense that Bryce is too afraid of making any mistakes. Which causes, you guessed it, mistakes. This offense just cannot seem to find any kind of rhythm.
-
Everyone and their grandmother knows when Hill is in the game he's running the ball, well everyone but this team apparently.
-
It's too late to make up for the blunders Fitterer has made with these trades. He's over committed to Burns so now he's going to doubledown by overpaying for a one trick pony that's not that good at his one trick. He's totally botched this entire offseason trading. He created this mess and the team will suffer for it for several years because of it. That's all I have to say about that.
-
Last night's game was rough to watch. The offense cannot find any kind of rhythm and cannot run the ball. The receivers are not helping at all. Pay Luvu and Brown and forget about Burns.
-
I didn't have any issues watching it on prime TV.
-
Well this sucks.

I don't think we are hurting to bad in the speed department. What we seem the be struggling with is route running and communication. The young guys just have not had enough reps in this offense yet. The vets haven't quit got their with Bryce either.
-
Not really. There's a shortage of "deep threats" if you haven't noticed. If you want to make it deep in the playoffs your offense better be able to hit at every level on the field to keep the offense moving.
-
Teams are going to play the safeties up until you beat them deep a few times in a game. Teams with a good pass rush are not going to give you enough time. You better be able to have something else up your sleeve on offense to compensate in the meantime. That was an easy score for the eagles. Hurts only had to throw it about 40 yards just high enough to clear the safety play up too close. Easy pitch and catch. The corner screwed up by giving the receiver a free release.
-
Cousins finally got time to throw it. He got the safety to bite and left a one on one. Vet move, finally. He's been playing like a rookie so far.
-
No safety help over the top. Had TMJ catch his pass you would have saw that in our last game.

"ET's real" That was funny when they started talking aliens. I love these cart talks that JJ does. This one with Miles is pretty funny.

Maybe their arms are too short?

It is rare. Teams are going to have to adapt their offense over time just based on the availability of the type of players coming out of college. I mean they already have to some extent over the years but it's more dramatic nowdays. Some teams cannot develop players as well as others so they are always grabbing already developed FA's. But those guys are aging out of the league and there not making them in college anymore. Defensive skills positions are more abundant and are more athletic than in the past. The truly great offensive skils players are becoming few and far between. It's more important now more than ever to have coaches that can identify and develop skill players, especially receivers, to be able to make the best of what players come out of college every year. It's getting harder to find players that fit the prototypical wr of just a few years ago. You better be able to adapt to an ever changing trend of athletes into a system that can win with ever changing rules that favor scoring.
