  1. I honestly don't know what they we thinking going into the season. It's obvious that that plan didn't work so what now? There's nothing they can do now but ride it out until the season is over.
  2. A RB is not a core player for any team. The core is qb, DE, LT and ILB that runs the defense. When you get those in place you build out from there. We have 2 good guards and a DL member that are making bank here and that's all. We still do not have the core in place. On top of all that our cap is a mess and they still do not have the core in place.
  3. If anything he's playing for a backup job. Starting is not in his future here unless he starts playing lights out soon. I get the feeling Canales is not on board with developing Young but is between a rock and a hard place at the moment. I'm not sure how this story will end. It's possible none of them will be here next season. That includes coaches as well as Young.
  4. It was probably from the airbag deployment.
  5. Players do not give discounts as long as they can do better elsewhere. That's a fan idea that never happens.
  6. That's about all they have on defense, rookies and scrubs.
  7. And who else on this defense is going to do it? You've seen how they've played.
  8. No Peppers was the first player we drafted to make the HOF. He didn't play his entire career here be we drafted him.
  9. I agree. But Canales doesn't see it that way it appears. Or he is forced to.
  10. He wouldn't be starting if Shaq and Josey weren't out with injuries. You are expecting too much from a 3rd round rookie that was forced to start 5 games into his first season.
  11. He's a rookie trying to play a MLB in the pros before he's ready. He has to set protections and the secondary. That's a tremendous ask with this defense wouldn't you think?
  12. I don't disagree with this theory. But the switch was inevitable. It's just that now it's for a different reason.
  13. Maybe he was giving his wife an oil check when the accident happened? Oh tell me you haven't gotten freaking on a car ride!
  14. Yeah I have said that from the beginning. It's not up to the fans whether he stays or goes. Until the team gives up on him this is what you will see. Everyone knew as soon as Andy went down it was back to Young. I also said Andy only had about 4 games in him at best. It was inevitable that Young would start again this season. You were warned.
  15. I'm not sure what it would look like. Anything better than what he's shown so far would be an improvement. He would have to play lights out and have a couple of scoring drives before he ultimately flames out I guess. I don't think there is anything he can do to salvage his career here.
  16. I don't understand the statement "what he done to the fanbase ". As far as I know he hasn't touched any fans beyond a handshake now and then. If watching him play effects you physically and emotionally then I think the problem is with you. You may not want to watch football anymore if it has that kind of effect on you. I know he stinks as a qb but cmon, some if you act like he ran over your dog or boned your mom or something. Ian Thomas has scammed this team out of more money than anyone and the outrage for that guy is nothing more than a mouse fart. Young will be gone when they can move him so be patient.
  17. Poor drafting and terrible trades. In otherwords, bad management.
  18. Jaun has an obsession with penis.
  19. If they are not considering that there is a scenario where they may have to call on Plummer before the season is over then I would consider that incompetent. Andy is not going to finish the season as the starter. It's just a matter of time before he's on IR. If Young is forced into action then Plummer is now the backup by default. It appears Canales would rather drag Andy out there no matter what so who's the backup if not Young? I have no clue what the plan would be going forward. It's just a mess.
  20. His biggest blunder was not hiring someone to manage the football team that knew infinity more about building a football team than he does. He has no business making GM and coaching hires much less picking qb's. That is his biggest blunder.
  21. With the exception of Young the narrative fits. It's definitely been a Carolina problem during the Tepper era. Let the bidding begin.
