    This^^^ Turning down that trade was a colossal mistake. They were never going to get anything even close to that offer ever again. That ship not only sailed, it sank to the bottom of the ocean.

    Exactly. Just like all these moves aren't for Bryce. These moves are for any qb that lines up behind them. This benefits everyone/anyone behind these big guys. Plain and simple. I like it.

    I'm just trying to follow along and I will admit that it's hard to follow some of the logic in here. Just wanted to clarify the rules in the game of cat and mouse.

    The problem is the the players we think are good are not good.

    Not to take a side in this but you are aware that teams cannot comment on any trade or signing of any player currently under contract with another team, right? Unless said player is a FA the league specifically forbids that. Just saying.

    So? That will only go so far in motivating players. Unless he's another McVay clone it's not going to matter. I have a feeling there's a reason no other team interviewed him.

    I'm not seeing anything special in Canales. He reminds too much of Rhule. He's another used car salesman IMO. I do not have a good feeling about the direction this team is going.

    Nothing about this has changed. They will grasp at straws throwing money and draft picks at players in an attempt to win now. These coaches will not last beyond this season when it proves to be a fruitless effort.
