Gettleman: Oher can be answer at left tackle
Jon Snow replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
The draft is certainly the preferred option, maybe the only option this year. What round is anyone's guess as it depends on the value. At least he will go after some UDFA's, right? -
Gettleman: Oher can be answer at left tackle
Jon Snow replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
I sure hope he's right. But I'd bet Gettlemen will have a backup plan this time. -
This is all about special teams folks. Calm down!

Mr Scot is rustling some Jimmies up in here. Masterful job I must say.

I can fat lip one like no other!

Report: Ndamukong Suh Signing A $114M Contract With Dolphins
Jon Snow replied to NcPsa10's topic in Carolina Panthers
That's a ridiculous contract even for a guy like Suh. No DT is worth that much money. -
Someone will overpay for his services. I'm fairly confident it won't be nippleshorts.

You win. It's your world brother so have at it. Peace!

I don't. Why should anyone? Brain Williams? Really?

Face down ass up fixes ugly... rookies

You're assuming I'm emotionally invested in this as you obviously are. You also seem to be under the illusion that I give a sh*t one way or the other. Scot and I were simply trying to remind you of the fact that the media does not care about facts, truth or the rule of law. They, like politicians, know that the majority of the listening public will believe anything they spew and will not take the time to actually research the facts. Not one single entity with a voice that's heard by the masses gives one iota of the thought about what really happened that you keeping preaching. But you go ahead a scream to all that's Holy about the injustice being done to Hardy. Everyone else is moving on.

Oh it will get worse when he's suspended.
-
You're wasting your time explaining it. The irony of his relentless obsession with the issue is lost on him.
-
You will not hear one mention of anything negative about her from the media. She's the victim and nothing you or I could say will stop that narrative from filling the airwaves. Get use to it.
-
Maybe for you and I but not to the people with an agenda an a means to promote it.
-
You seem to live in a world where facts matter to public opinion. The media isn't interested the truth, they want ratings.
-
The Players Union won't say a word on this as they don't want any of the media sh*t storm that they would get just like the league did on the whole issue. This issue is radioactive right now and they will stay out of this.

I'm cool with it. Sign him to a team friendly 2 to 3 year contract and grab a replacement in the draft if one happens to fall in our lap and roll on.
-
Face down ass up is my moto. I may not remember a face but I never forget a nice ass.
-
At this point I do not care anymore. I'm sick of this whole fiasco and I'm betting the team is also.

Pretty much. Look at it this way, would you as a DA want to go you trial without your primary witness? It doesn't matter why she is a no show in the end, unless he killed her of course. Even if he paid her to disappear, which is illegal, she would have to still show up to testify to his coercion and bribery. She got what she ultimately wanted in money and revenge for dumping her. He got what he wanted by this all going away. Both parties happy so why prosecute him over a misdemeanor when all involved just want it to go away?
-
Maybe he did try but she wanted too much money? It's not unheard of for a situation like this to be settled at the last minute. It happens all the time actually, it's called negotiations.
-
I think it falls under - corruptly persuades a person. Which would be the case here if he paid her off to go away.
