    Well if this does happen and we give up what you guys are willing to give up I do not want to hear the same bitching and moaning when this team continues it's up and down seasons. Because that star QB will have to win with a handful of good players and the majority of the team being taped together with a bunch of scrubs. Sound familiar?

    Who said they weren't doing their own thing? Their taking what they've learned from their past and using it to make a better future. Why is that a bad thing? Isn't that what you do in life?

    One player does not make a team. Winning builds a fan base. You guys just want a big name kid (not even local) to make you happy, winning is secondary. It's more of a popularity contest for you. No one gives a damn who you are if your team is not winning. Look at the team he is one now.

    To win Superbowls you have to consistently win your conference. To consistently win your conference you have to consistently make the playoffs. So the goal is to consistently have a winning team. The rest will come if the first goal is accomplished. Trust the process.

    I can see that the Hurney apologists are turning their noses up to the idea of being a consistent winner like Seattle. I guess consistently drafting in the top half of the draft puts more wins in the bank and fans in the seats.
