Why? Did we lose the ability to draft more players? Are we not allowed to select players in the next two days? Who said there is no more top tier players left to pick? Im getting confused by all the huddle panic after one pick, one, one f*cking pick and the season is over. Not directed at you specifically but this place has go sh*t with all the drama going on over this.

I have only read a few pages of this and as expected the huddle is in full melt down mode. I have laughed so hard I can't breathe.

Well we did go from Cam Newton to nobody so I'd say we are in consideration for the worst transition to date. Hopefully that changes under a new GM. I hope he finds the heir to the throne quickly.

I would agree and if by some miracle he came here I think he would clash with Brady in that Rodgers is older than Brady and undoubtedly will not take to a younger guy telling him what to do with the offense. Just my 2 cents.

While I tend to agree that neither have been anything to write home about I personally don't care if they take a flyer on any QB at this point. I wouldn't turn my nose up to it as long as we don't trade for him. We have traded assets for a flyer QB already. To me that's enough. Just sign a few off the street and sort them out in camp until you find better options. From where I'm sitting that's really our only option (besides the draft of course) right now is to throw educated guesses at the position until the cream rises to the top. They tried to trade for a better option but they have all fallen through for one reason or another. They took option 3 for now since option one and two didn't pan out so we are where we are. I'm hoping Darnold can at least be worth something this season at minimum.

I think the Saints will be the most likely landing spot in the NFCS, if any team besides SF has a shot. Rodgers would fit right in with SP as both are huge dickheads.

I'm sure they are inquiring. I just think it would take Rodgers actually wanting to come here for us to have a shot. I seriously don't that's the case.

I mean if you are going to dream why not dream big right? This would qualify as a big pipedream. Don't shoot the messenger.

For sake of speculation I will say we have little to no chance at Rodgers. Having said that for us to get into this trade we would most likely have to give up players and a bunch of first round picks to be even considered, if Rodgers would even want to come here. There is always a possibility that we could work out some kinda of three-way trade involving use and SF for the number 3 pick which would allow them to flip the hoard of picks we give up for the 3rd pick to acquire Rodgers. Barring that I do not expect us to be in this particular deal.

Tepper is twitching right now thinking about going after Rodgers. I guarantee Fit is on the phone right now.

I have kept my cards close to the vest on what I think will happen but I guess it's time to chime in so here is what I think is the most likely outcome tonight. I'm going to go with @Vergeand her grapevine rumbling info and say we take Jones if he is there with Sewell gone. I am going with them not being able to trade down in this scenario. I'm not buying into the Fields hype as I think that the OSU QB stigma continues with him as the latest victim. There's really only two maybe 3 top 10 worthy QB's in this draft. Just because more are taken doesn't mean said qb is worth the investment, it's just desperation driving the hype. We are no longer that desperate.

It's going to get ugly no matter who we select. I expect to add a few more trolls to my ignore list tonight while laughing my ass off the entire time.

At least not well enough to take him at 8. We have no idea how their board is set up. The same goes for Fields, they may like him but not at 8. Just because they don't take who you want at the pick doesn't mean they don't value the player it just means that player ( in their evaluation ) is not a value at whet they are picking. It's just that simple. Folks need to prepare their anus's for a lot of WTF are they doing tonight.

I'm in the group that thinks Tepper is not telling them who to select but telling them to find the future franchise QB, whoever Fits thinks that guy could be. I'm sure QB is at the top of the list of priorities. Remember, Fit said that he believed you draft a qb every draft. They will take a QB at some point in this draft and every draft going forward until they get the franchise and his heir on the roster.
