Let him. He's not invincible nor unbeatable. He's not played this iteration of the Panthers before and will not be fast enough to run very far on this crew. I don't care how many lucky horseshoes he has up his ass.

If you want to be a playoff team, you win this weekend

Survey says!...you are incorrect. -
It would not surprise me in the least. It also would not surprise me if they used a future 1st to move up. The drafts just got interesting now that Fitts is running them.

Anyone else got a bad feeling about this Eagles game?
Jon Snow replied to hepcat's topic in Carolina Panthers
I'm not sure it's possible. If anything it's a push. -
And you fools were questioning the old man. He's got this.

A critique of Darnold through 4 games
Jon Snow replied to LinvilleGorge's topic in Carolina Panthers
That's all I'm trying to say. There are expectations like not being the reason we lose, and there are unreasonable expectations like bringing the team back from a 20 point deficit every damn game. If we are only trying to mount a comeback in 1 out of every 4 games then personally that's pretty damn good to me. -

It is an arbitrary metric that discounts all the great play that prevented the team from getting themselves in that situation to begin with. Say they had to come from behind in 7 of 17 games. They were successful in 3 of those. By that they would have a 13-4 record. Who gets credit for that? By your standards he has roughly a 42% comeback rate, whatever that means. Does that mean a qb on a 13-4 team in not a franchise qb? So bottom line is if the team is winning in part by the play of the qb then he's a franchise qb. Unless you think this team can win without him then I guess my questions are answered. -
Meanwhile, over at that other expansion team...

Welcome to era of cancel culture. Instead of ridicule from her girlfriends after a night of drinking she has a nation of idiots going after her. But that's the price one pays these days by not keeping their wits about them. -

Let me get this straight, I'm hearing that you do not think a qb is franchise unless he brings his team back from behind in the 4th quarter, correct? How many times does he have to do that successfully or is it some arbitrary number? So having said that how do you qualify a qb that rarely puts his team in that position to begin with? Just for future reference. -

Yeah 20 years ago there wasn't anything like social media sending instant images all over the world. At worst it was a reporter or a suspicious wife's private investigator. He might have made the cover of the national inquirer. -

Nah, Meyer is just a first class dumbass. He let his ego get the best of him. If he were a nobody this would not have never gotten 1 mention. -

One would think these well paid so called geniuses would not need a fortune cookie tell them. -
You know, the guy that did the thing, from the old neighborhood.

I'm more of an almond myself. Known to occasionally be off-white in the winter. PS, even i know what unk meant.

If we were healthy we would still need starters at those positions.

You may be surprised.

I would have believed you if it had been him that crop dusted you. But I'm still lmao.

Well if you think about it we are missing one starting tackle, both starting guards and a center. Sounds like a push to me.

Anytime we can screw over a division opponent I'm all for it. Especially when we can do it so easily. I could get into more of that.
-
Unless it involves an open buffet.
-
I think you are worrying for nothing. This defense is mostly positionless in the secondary. That means the guys have to be able to play every positionl in the secondary. Even the LB's need position flexibility.

Let us hope he can impart that knowledge onto our rookie CB's.
