This is the correct answer.

I root for the kid because he is an underdog in this league. I would love to see the little guy go out there and destroy his opponents. Imagine the embarrassment of the other team if they lost to this kid and these scrubs.

Would the Carolina Panthers move on from QB Bryce Young?
Jon Snow replied to jayboogieman's topic in Carolina Panthers
Dumb question is dumb. Of course they would. -
I'm pretty sure that fact has already been established, at least a thousand times already. Maybe if it's pointed out a couple thousand more it might get noticed.

That scenario falls apart when Andy has to help win 6 games. He's more fragile than Young at his age and doesn't have it anymore. Andy is a mentor not a "real" backup.

Bryce has a bigger challenge ahead of him. He's auditioning for his future nfl career. If that's not motivation enough for him to do his best I seriously doubt some project qb will do it. The kid is facing the biggest challenge to his future in the nfl. He's just lucky he's getting a mulligan for last season.

I rarely watch college football anymore but will watch any games Luke is commenting on. Luke knows football. -
Panthers Practice August 12: Compliment Sandwich Edition

But it doesn't benefit either to protect Young. You put him out there in his offense and let the chips fall where they may. Canales is responsible the offense. If Young cannot run it then the sooner he let's the whole world know the easier it will go for him. Now if he cannot build an offense that can win regardless of whose behind center then that is his burden to bare. -

There's is no point in trying to hide the offense nor Young. We've seen him out there before. Canales has just as much at stake as Young right now. If he cannot come up with a way to beat our defense he's toast. He sees film on them every day and Evero is eating Canales lunch. -

It's no secret. I'm willing to bet the starters will play a lot in game 2. Especially if the come out and go 3 and out repeatedly. -

Where's the DBO sign when you need it. -

It's part of the master plan. Keep their super offensive juggernaut secret until game 1. Young is going to throw 10 touchdowns and 1000 yards or something in game 1 and we win by 90 points. All setting records. You heard it hear first. -

The defense is better. The offense is still bad. The defense is better. -
I'm not sure how true it was but I remember reading somewhere during that time that it was rumored that Wilks told them during his interview his choice for OC would be Reich. Knowing what we know now I think we would still be right where we are today. You cannot escape fate. Whatever happens from here is destined to happen my friend.

Looks like Mr. Jackson has earned some time with the ones. I suspected that's what game 1 was about, letting these guys show that they belong. You know who doesn't belong? David Tepper. He sucks. The starters will need to play at least a half in game 2 however. I would play the 3 quarters myself. -
Unnecessary Bluntness podcast on Canales and preseason approach
Jon Snow replied to Icege's topic in Carolina Panthers
It's seems he already is with all the bad snaps I keep hearing about. I'm telling you this will not go well if the offensive line hasn't improved. But that's secondary to the qb play. Coaching is a big concern of mine. -

This team is 1 injury away on the offensive line from looking exactly like they did last season. Let that marinate in your brain for a minute. -

It appears Dan is counting on having a little luck to get him by with the center position this season. -

I suspect he will have to play center sooner that we think. -

Football pants make player's asses pop I never expected anything different re:team sucks. At least there's new characters added to this circle of hell. -
Dalton is used up. He will be replaced after the season is over with another backup. Maybe sooner if the opportunity presents itself. You heard it here first.

We're dead last in that category too.
