Indifferent.

That's my point. Darnold is worthless to anyone but the Panthers. They will have to squeeze out whatever juice is left in that lemon.

Panthers unable to reach a deal to hire Giants' Thomas McGaughey
Jon Snow replied to Michael G's topic in Carolina Panthers
WE NEED ANSWERS!!! -
No, you cannot trade Darnold period. They are eating 18M regardless. No matter what they do they will still eat that 18M. Now knowing that what would a team give them for Darnold? A 7th, maybe. There is no wiggling out of the cost of the Darnold experiment. Whatever happens will just add to that circus.

NO MORE TRADING FOR QB'S!!! They are in a deep enough hole already! Stop digging it deeper.

He's got a better shot than our current guy, which doesn't say much but still.

No to #1 Probably to #2, 3 and 4

Old news.

That is the most logical assumption. But I've got to have something to hold onto. A blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then.

The only thing that is left to consider is that Tepper is establishing a president of letting a coach have more time than most teams to build a team. That would be inciting to good coaching candidates knowing there is more job security with Tepper even if you struggle at first. That's all I've got.

It's close.

That is going to hamper the search for a HC candidate one would think. At least it would narrow the candidate list to who would be comfortable with working with these guys.

I did and you both still are focusing on one play. You mean to tell that if the Bills had won the coin toss that the Chief's still would have won the game? Look I had no interest in which team won. But you are kidding yourself if you think that the coin toss didn't ultimately decide the outcome of this game.
-
So did the Chiefs. They had plenty of opportunities to put the Bills away but they had to pull off a miracle to even tie the game. What's your point? It cuts both ways. They pulled off a miracle and won the game of chance.
-
I'm not sure where you are going with this but it's the rules. The way this game was going the last team to possessed the ball (win the coin toss) was going to win the game based on the current rules. I for one wanted it to continue until the outcome was determined by the qb play and not a game of chance.
-
You can name any number of plays that had an effect on the outcome of the game. Why chose that one? The bottom line is that it ultimately was decided by the coin toss.
-
Yeah he is probably is a no for us. I'm really concerned about both line coach selections. I will have a keen interest in both those positions.

Any word on the dline coaching search?

He has the most experience of the bunch I think.

I hate when a game is decided by a coin flip like that. I told my son that whoever won the toss wins the game. Both offenses were on fire last night.
