It appears to me that they are starting to figure out their identity and what they are capable of. Under Rhule they didn't have that trust or clarity of purpose. They also didn't have any leadership that could speak from experience to guide them. What you see is a young team coming together. You see a experienced NFL coach getting a you team to believe in itself. You see a young team that trusts and believes in the coach. Something that's been missing for quite some time. Will it be enough to overcome the obstacles ahead of them? It's a tall order.

A grass field would have been frozen by the temperatures before and during the game. It would have felt like concrete regardless. Take your ass whipping like a man Goff.

Is he coaching a team someone else built? You cannot duplicate this scenario unless you bring him into a situation where the coach is fired the Monday before the first game. But I would give him good odds of success.

It looks to me like Sam may be gaining a little confidence. His fundamentals are as sound as I think I've ever seen him display. But as long as the run game is working they can afford to be a little conservative. That defense is going to need to tighten up though. They played better but not playoff football better. But I'm still enjoying watching this new look Panthers.

It is indeed! Cruso has my sympathy my fellow mountain folk. Options vary the future out you go doesn't it? I'm only 3 mile off I40 so that helps me tremendously. But the further out you venture from Asheville the more remote and disconnected you become. You will not get any cell service in Northern Haywood County, as you've probably experienced. Don't not break down in the gorge.
